Hello there! I hope you are all well! Today is my last post at A Blog Named Hero as a member of the design team. I've been joined the team for nearly two years and it's been a pleasure. Thanks to Linda to count and trust me on this beautiful journey. I've learned from all of you and I've been known many wonderful and super talented crafters. I'm so grateful for having been part of this team. I also wanted to welcome to the new design team that they are going to enjoy it so much for sure.
¡Hola a todos! Espero que estén bien. Hoy en mi última entrada en el blog A Blog Named Hero como miembro del equipo de diseño. He participado en este equipo desde hace ya dos años y ha sido un verdadero placer. Gracias a Linda por contar y confiar en mi en este hermoso trayecto. He aprendido de todos ustedes y he conocido a maravillosas y talentosas artistas. Estoy muy agradecida por haber formado parte de este equipo. También quiero darle la bienvenida al nuevo equipo de diseño que estoy segura que disfrutarán mucho.
Para mi última tarjeta, quisiera compartir algo inspirador y algo que se ajuste a estos tiempos que todos estamos pasando. Espero que les guste.
First of all, I used two My Monthly Hero kits for creating this card, My Monthly Hero December 2020 (it is sold out but you can find something similar in HERE) and the My Monthly Hero June 2018 (you can find this set HERE). As they are layering stamps, I decided to use my Mini MISTI Stamping tool to save some time and be more precise when stamping the images.
Primero, utilicé dos kits de Hero Arts para crear esta tarjeta, el kit My Monthly Hero Diciembre 2020 (ya está agotado pero pueden encontrar algo similar AQUÍ) y el kit My Monthly Hero Junio 2018 (puedes encontrar este set AQUÍ). Como son sellos en capas, decidí utililar la Herramienta de Estampación Mini MISTI para ahorrar tiempo y ser más precisa para estampar los sellos.
First, I picked a piece of HA Dove white Premium Cardstock and stamped the clouds at the top of the card, using the Mini MISTI as I had mentioned before. I stamped this set with Soft Yellow, Lemon Yellow, and Dandelion inks. Then, I stamped the sea at the bottom of the card. I used Summer Sky, Indigo, and Navy. Then, I turned the stamp of the sea, and lined up with the other part of the sea that I had already stamped, I overlayed just a little bit and stamped the layers with the same colors. This would fill the bottom part of the card. Now I just had a white space in the middle of the card, for fixing this I just masked a part of the clouds on top and part of the sea at the bottom. Then, I stamped the clouds again using the same color inks. As there were some white gaps in the middle of the card (sky part), I blended Soft Yellow ink applying with a Sponge Dauber. Later, I stamped the sun and the sun rays with Butter Bar ink and gave them a little bit of shine using the NUVO Midas Touch shimmer pen.
Primero, escogí un trozo de cartulina blanca de Hero Arts (HA Dove Premium Cardstock) y estampé las nubes en la parte superior de la tarjeta, utilizando la Mini MISTI como ya había mencionado antes. Estampé este set con las tintas Soft Yellow, Lemon Yellow y Dandelion. Luego, estampé el mar en la parte inferior de la tarjeta. Utilicé las tintas Summer Sky, Indigo y Navy. Luego, roté el sello del mar, y lo alineé con la otra parte del mar que ya había estampado, lo solapé un poco y estampé las capas con las mismas tintas de colores. Esto rellenaría la parte inferior de la tarjeta. Ahora habría un espacio blanco en el medio de la tarjeta y para arreglarlo simplemente enmascaré la parte de las nubes en la parte superior y la parte del mar en la parte inferior, y estampé las nubes nuevamente utilizando las mismas tintas. Como habían algunos huecos blancos en el medio de la tarjeta (en la parte del cielo), tinté esa parte utilizando la tinta Soft Yellow ink aplicándola con un aplicador de esponja (Sponge Dauber). Más tarde, estampé el sol y los rayos de sol con la tinta Butter Bar y les di un poquito de brillo con el NUVO Midas Touch Shimmer Pen.
To finish this card, I trimmed off the sides of the card and added it to a Dove Folded card with foam tape. Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment with HA White Embossing Powder.
Para finalizar esta tarjeta, recorté los laterales de la tarjeta un poquito y la añadí a una base de tarjeta blanca con adhesivo de espuna (foam tape). Finalmente, repujé la frase con Polvos de Embossing Blancos.
