Hello there! It's me, Cha! I made an arty card with the "My Monthly Hero kit" June 2019 and the Jungle Frame Fancy Die June 2019 add-on. I also used some Tim Holtz alcohol inks and alcohol markers (mine are Promarkers and Brushmarkers from Winsor and Newton). As this card has many images and some layers, I discarded to add some more dimension to avoid to make it too bulky.
¡Hola a todos! ¡Soy Cha! Hice una tarjeta artística con el kit de Hero Arts "My Monthly Hero kit" junio 2019 y el troquel Jungle Frame Fancy Die que venía de manera adicional al kit. También utilicé tintas de alcohol de Tim Holtz y rotuladores de alcohol (los míos son Promarkers y Brushmarkers de Winsor & Newton). Como esta tarjeta tiene muchas imágenes y algunas capas, descarté la idea de añadir más relieve para evitar hacerla más voluminosa.
For creating the background, I decided to make some frame. I picked a piece of Yupo cardstock and used the Jungle Frame Fancy Die. I colored this piece with some green-tone alcohol inks - botanical, pistachio and limeade. In order to lighten some areas, I applied some snow cap alcohol ink and, then, colored again with limeade alcohol ink. Later, I darkened other areas of this jungle frame with bottle alcohol ink. What's more, I added another background behind this frame. For making this piece, I just colored another piece of Yupo paper in bluish tones from dark to light - denim, turquoise, pool. I gave it some texture with rubbing alcohol (or Alcohol Blending Solution), making some stripes movements from left to right.
Para crear el fondo para esta tarjeta, decidí hacer un marco. Escogí un trozo de cartulina Yupo y utilicé el troquel Jungle Frame Fancy Die. Coloreé esta pieza con tonos verdosos con tintas de alcohol - botanical, pistachio y limeade. Para aclarar algunas áreas, apliqué la tinta de alcohol snow cap y, luego, coloreé otra vez con la tinta de alcohol limeade. Más tarde, oscurecí algunas zonas de este troquel con la tinta de alcohol bottle. Además, añadí otro fondo detrás de este troquel. Para realizar este otro fondo, solo coloreé otra pieza de cartulina Yupo en tonos azulados de más oscuro a más claro - denim, turquoise, pool. Le dí algo de textura con alcohol desinfectante (o el Alcohol Blending Solution) y realizando algunas líneas de izquierda a derecha.
From the My Monthly Hero kit June 2019, I put some of the images in my mini MISTI stamping tool in order to stamp the images several times for creating more defined images. I stamped the images with some alcohol-friendly ink, Intense Black ink. I colored all the stamped images with my alcohol markers - Promarkers and Brushmarkers from Winsor & Newton. I also colored around each image in order to fit with the background behind. I die cut each piece with the coordinating die, using my Sidekick die cutting machine. I also die cut some branches that came with the kit and colored them with alcohol markers, too.
Del kit de Hero Arts junio 2019, puse algunas imágenes en la herramienta para estampar mini MISTI para estampar algunas imágenes varias veces para, así, crear imágenes más definidas. Estampé las imágenes con una tinta para usar con rotuladores de alcohol, la tinta Intense Black ink. Coloreé todas las imáges estampadas con rotuladores de alcohol, Promarkers y Brushmarkers de Winsor & Newton. También coloreé alrededor de la imagen para que concuerde con el color del fondo. Troquelé cada pieza con el troquel coordinado, utilizando la troqueladora pequeña Sidekick. También troquelé algunas ramas que vinieron con el kit y las coloreé con los rotuladores de alcohol también.
To assemble this card, I started to attach some pieces behind the frame, such as plants or the tree trunk. Then, I adhered the blue background to a white notecard and the green frame with some glued pieces on it. I finished gluing all the pieces with a strong liquid adhesive.
Para montar esta tarjeta, comencé a pegar algunas piezas detrás del marco, como las plantas o el tronco del árbol. Luego, adherí el fondo azul a una base de tarjeta blanca y el marco verde con algunas piezas pegadas en ella. Terminé pegando todas las piezas con un adhesivo líquido fuerte.
I stamped the sentiment in a gap between the images with some Intense Black Ink, using the mini MISTI stamping tool.
Estampé la frase en un hueco entre las imágenes con la tinta negra Intense Black Ink, utilizando la herramienta de estampar sellos mini MISTI.
To finish this card, I added some black dots to the animals with the Sakura black glaze pen, some white details with a white gel pen and some shimmer to the images.
Para finalizar esta tarjeta, añadí algunos puntos negros a los animales con el rotulador glaze negro de Sakura, algunos detalles de color blanco con un rotulador blanco de gel y algo de purpurina a las imágenes.
