Hello there! It's me, Cha! I've been very busy and, until now, I couldn't have posted any video. For today's post, I've made some CAS cards using the My Monthly Hero kit June 2019 from Hero Arts. I've created four cards that are very similar between them.
¡Hola a todos! ¡Soy Cha! He estado muy ocupado y, hasta ahora, no había podido publicar ningún vídeo. Para el blog hoy, he hecho algunas tarjetas simples (CAS cards) utilizando el kit de junio My Monthly Hero 2019 de Hero Arts. He creado cuatro tarjetas que son muy similares entre sí.
For my first card, I decided to use the flamingo and the plant that is included in the kit. I was going to do some water coloring with Distress Inks. I used my mini MISTI stamping tool to stamp the main image, the flamingo, in order to stamp twice. I placed the flamingo in the mini MISTI and added some ink on the stamp but in different colors, that are to say, I inked the stamp in parts, the body of the flamingo with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink, the flamingo's peak with Mustard Seed Distress Ink and, the flamingo's legs with Carved Pumpkin Distress Ink. Then, I colored the image with the same colors that I stamped the image. When I finished coloring, I restamped the image with the same inks in order to define the image. I wanted to focus on the image only.
Para la primera tarjeta, decidí utilizar el flamingo y la planta que está incluida en el kit. Realicé la técnica de acuarela con Distress Ink. Utilicé la herramienta de estampación mini MISTI para estampar la imagen del flamingo para estamparla dos veces. Coloqué el flamingo en la herramienta mini MISTI y añadí tinta al sello pero diferentes colores, es decir, tinté el sello en partes, para el cuerpo del flamingo con la tinta Distress Ink Worn Lipstick, para el pico del flamingo con la tinta Distress Ink Mustard Seed, y para las patas del flamingo con la tinta Distress Ink Carved Pumpkin. Luego, coloreé la imagen con las mismas tintas para definir la imagen. Quise enforcar solo la imagen.
For the background, I masked the flamingo image and stamped the plant behind the flamingo several times, using an acrylic block. I used Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. Later, I colored the plants with the same ink and, also, I colored a little bit the soil with the same ink, too. I colored the sky with Broken China Distress Ink.
Para el fondo, enmascaré la imagen del flamingo y estampé varias plantas detrás del flamingo varias veces, utilizando un block acrílico (o metacrilato). Utilicé la tinta Distress Ink Mowed Lawn. Más tarde, coloreé las plantas con la misma tinta y, también, coloreé un poco el suelo con la misma tinta, también. Coloreé el cielo con la tinta Distress Ink Broken China.
Para el fondo, enmascaré la imagen del flamingo y estampé varias plantas detrás del flamingo varias veces, utilizando un block acrílico (o metacrilato). Utilicé la tinta Distress Ink Mowed Lawn. Más tarde, coloreé las plantas con la misma tinta y, también, coloreé un poco el suelo con la misma tinta, también. Coloreé el cielo con la tinta Distress Ink Broken China.
I stamped the sentiment using some dye ink, Deep Ocean. For some details, I colored the flamingo's body with NUVO shimmer pen and, I colored the flamingo's eye with some dimension, using the black Sakura Glaze pen. I added some silver confetti on the background that I have in my stash.
Estampé la frase utilizando la tinta Deep Ocean. Para los detalles, simplemente coloreé el cuerpo del flamingo con un rotulador de brillo, NUVO shimmer pen, y coloreé el ojo del flamingo con un poquito de relieve, utilizando el rotulador negro Sakura Glaze. Añadí algunas lentejuelas de confetis plateadas en el fondo que tenía ya en casa.
Cheetah Card | Tarjeta Guepardo
For my second card, I used the cheetah image and the plant but I used the plant in a different way. I used the same technique, water coloring with Distress Inks. First, I stamped the main image, the cheetah, using the mini MISTI stamping tool. I used Carved Pumpkin Distress Ink. I colored the cheetah with Carved Pumpkin and Wild Honey Distress Ink. Also, I stamped the image with the Carved Pumpkin Distress Ink in order to crisp the image although I stamped with Versafine Onyx black ink in order to color the stains of the cheetah.
Para la segunda tarjeta, utilicé la imagen del guepardo y la planta pero, esta vez, utilicé la planta de una manera diferente. Utilicé la misma técnica, acuarelas con las tintas Distress Ink. Primero, estampé la imagen principal, el guepardo, utilizando la herramienta de estampación mini MISTI. Utilicé la tinta Distress Ink Carved Pumpkin. Coloreé el guepardo con la misma tinta Distress Ink, Carved Pumpkin y con la tinta Distress Ink Wild Honey. También, estampé la imagen con la tinta Distress Ink Pumpkin Ink para darle más nitidez a la imagen aunque estampé la imagen con la tinta Versafine Onyx black ink luego para las manchas del guepardo.
For the background, I masked the cheetah. I stamped the plant behind the cheetah, but this time, I just inked the bottom part of the plant and stamped firmly onto the cardstock with an acrylic block. I wanted some grassy floor behind the cheetah, so I colored with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink as my stamping and then, I gave it some contrast with green tones, Crushed Olive, Pine Needle, Forest Moss Distress Inks.

Estampé la planta detrás del guepardo, pero esta vez, solo quise tintar la parte inferior de la planta, así que estampaba firmemente en la cartulina con un bloque de acrílico. Quise un suelo con césped detrás de la imagen principal, así que coloreé con las tintas Distress Ink, Mowed Lawn como cuando realicé la estampación y luego, le dí contraste con otros tonos verdes, Crushed Olive, Pine Needle, Forest Moss.
Para el fondo, enmascaré el guepardo. Estampé la planta detrás del guepardo, pero esta vez, solo quise tintar la parte inferior de la planta, así que estampaba firmemente en la cartulina con un bloque de acrílico. Quise un suelo con césped detrás de la imagen principal, así que coloreé con las tintas Distress Ink, Mowed Lawn como cuando realicé la estampación y luego, le dí contraste con otros tonos verdes, Crushed Olive, Pine Needle, Forest Moss.
I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink. For some details, I added some dimension to the cheetah's eye with the black Sakura Glaze.

Monkey Card | Tarjeta Mono
For my third card, I used the monkey image and the tree trunk that it is included in the kit, too. I placed the monkey in the mini MISTI stamping tool and stamped with Tea Dye Distress Ink. I colored the monkey with this ink and Vintage Photo. I restamped the image again in order to get a crisp image. Then, I masked the monkey and placed the tree trunk that I stamped with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I colored the tree trunk with Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso Distress Ink. Also, there were some leaves and flowers on the trunk that I colored with Mowed Lawn, Pine Needle and Picked Raspberry Distress Ink. I masked the tree trunk to color the background.
Para la tercera tarjeta, utilicé la imagen del mono y el tronco del árbol que está incluido en el kit, también. Coloqué el mono en la herramienta de estampación mini MISTI y estampé con la tinta Distress Ink Tea Dye. Coloreé el mono con esta tinta y la tinta Distress Ink Vintage Photo. Volví a estampar la image para definir mejor la imagen. Luego enmascaré la imagen del mono y coloqué el tronco del árbol que estampé con la tinta Distress Ink Vintage Photo. Coloreé el tronco con las tintas Distress Inks, Vintage Photo y Ground Espresso. También habían varias hojas y flores sobre el tronco que coloreé con las tintas Distress Inks, Mowed Lawn, Pine Needle y Picked Raspberry. Enmascaré el tronco del árbol para colorear el fondo.
For the background, I decided to make it simple. I put the stencil that also came with the kit, over the panel and blended with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink.

I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I also used the black Sakura Glaze pen to add a dot on the monkey's eye.

Elephant Card | Tarjeta Elefante
For my last card, I used the elephant image and the plant from the kit. I placed the elephant in the mini MISTI stamping tool and stamped with Weathered Wood Distress Ink. I colored the elephant with this ink, Weathered Wood. I also colored the fabric decoration on its head with several Distress Inks, Squeeze Lemonade, Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet Distress Ink. I restamped the elephant with Weathered Wood Distress Ink. I masked the elephant to color the background.

Coloqué el elefante en la herramienta de estampación mini MISTI y estampé con la tinta Distress Ink Weathered Wood. Coloreé al elefante con esta tinta, Weathered Wood. También coloreé la decoración textil sobre su cabeza con diferentes tintas Distress Ink, Squeeze Lemonade, Picked Raspberry y Wilted Violet. Volví a estampar el elefante con la tinta Distress Ink Weathered Wood. Enmascaré el elefantito para colorear el fondo.
For the background, I stamped the plant several times to create some rows of plants in different greenish tones. I stamped the first row of plants with Twisted Citron Distress Ink, using an acrylic block. Then, I stamped the second row of plants with Mowed Lawn Distress ink, and I stamped the last row with Forest Moss Distress Ink. I also colored the ground with these three colors of Distress Ink.
What's more, I added some color on the sky with Broken China Distress Ink.
Para el fondo, estampé la planta varias veces para crear algunas hileras de plantas en diferentes tonos verdosos. Estampé la primera hilera de platnas con la tinta Distress Ink Twisted Citron, utilizando un bloque acrílico (o metacrilato). Luego, estampé la segunda hilera de plantas con la tinta Distress Ink Mowed Lawn, y estampé la última hilera de plantas con la tinta Distress Ink Forest Moss. También coloreé el suelo con estos tres colores de Distress Inks.
Además, añadí color al cielo con la tinta Distress Ink Broken China.
