Masking + Tarjeta para Invierno | Masking o Enmascarado + Winter Card

Hi everybody! It's me, Cha! For this week I made one of my favorite cards ever. For this card, I also used some of my favorite cardmaking techniques - stamping, masking, coloring with watercolors and alcohol markers and, embossing! It is a complex card but the result is gorgeous. 

¡Hola a todos! Soy Cha. Para esta semana tengo una de mis tarjetas favoritas de todas las que he creado. Para esta tarjeta, también utilicé algunas técnicas favoritas en tarjetería - estampación, enmascarado, coloración con acuarelas y rotuladores de alcohol y... embossing (o repujado)! Es una tarjeta compleja pero el resultado es precioso. 

ABNH December 2018 Challenge | Reto Diciembre 2018 para ABNH

1. I stamped the images - MMH kit (October 2018) and Home for Holidays stamp set from Hero Arts. I used my mini MISTI to stamp my images several times. I stamped the cabins from the stamp set with Hero Arts Intense black ink while I was masking the images in order to create a snowy small village. I colored all the images with alcohol markers - ProMarkers and BrushMarkers from Winsor&Newton.

1. Estampé las imágenes - El kit de Hero Arts (octubre 2018) y el set de sellos Home for Holidays. Utilicé la herramienta para estampar mini MISTI para estampar las imágenes varias veces en un mismo lugar. Estampé las cabañas que vienen en el set de sellos utilizando la tinta Intense Black mientras iba enmascarando las imágenes para crear un pequeño pueblo nevado. Coloreé las imágenes con rotuladores de alcohol - ProMarkers y BrushMarkers de Winsor&Newton. 

2. I mixed some Hero Arts glimmer metallic inks - purple and blue for coloring the sky. I colored carefully not to color the images. I also colored the bottom of the card with a grey alcohol marker and then, I colored with white liquid watercolor to lighten the color. 

2. Mezclé algunas tintas metálicas de Hero Arts - purple y blue para colorear el cielo. Coloreé cuidadosamente para no colorear las imágenes. También coloreé la parte inferior de la tarjeta con rotulador gris y luego, coloreé la misma área con acuarela líquida blanca para aclarar el color. 

3. I stamped the sentiment at the top of the card and an image (the half moon) with Versamark ink and embossed both with white embossing powder.  

3. Estampé la frase en la parte superior de la tarjeta y una imagen (la media luna) con la tinta Versamark y realicé embossing (o repujado) con polvos de embossing blancos. 

4. I added some snowy elements using the Hero Arts lacquer pen and embossed all the elements with white puff embossing powder. 

4. Añadí algunos elementos nevados utilizando el pegamento dimensional de Hero Arts - lacquer pen, y, volví a realizar la técnica embossing con los polvos de embossing - white puff. 

5. I highlighted some elements with a white gel pen. I also added some shine to the images with the Iridescent watercolor ink and splashed some drops of white acrylic paint to create a winter atmosphere. 

5. Resalté algunos elementos con el rotulador de gel blanco (white gel pen). Añadí brillo a las imágenes con el Iridescent watercolor ink y salpiqué pintura acrílica blanca para crear una atmósfera más invernal. 

6. I assembled this card on top of a craft foam sheet and adhered this whole piece to a white notecard. 

6. Monté esta tarjeta sobre una hoja de goma eva o foamy, y toda la pieza la adherí a una base de tarjeta blanca.

For the USA, I highly recommend the Wagner heat tool from Hero Arts. I cannot use this tool because I live outside of the States and this tool cannot be used internationally due to the electrician requirements that are not the same for all the continents. No possible for use with outlet adapters.

I use Artemio heat gun (available in Europe only).

Para América, recomiendo la pistola de embossing de Hero Arts - Wagner. No puedo utilizar esta herramienta porque vivo fuera de los EEUU y es incompatible debido a los requisitos eléctricos que no son iguales para todos los continentes. Tampoco es posible utilizarse con un adaptador. 

Utilizo la pistola de calor de Artemio (disponible solo para Europa)
