I'm back to share many of the cards I've been creating over the last year. However, I would like to start sharing some cards, featuring new products that will be released this month, June 2026. I'm talking about the new collection, STC Serenity Garden, by Spellbinders. In this post, I'll show you the etched dies set called Astrantia.

Estoy de vuelta para compartir muchas de las tarjetas que he estado creando durante el último año. The
Astrantia etched dies set comprises 5 pieces for creating flowers and leaves. What I love most about this set is the tiny flowers, which can be used in many card projects. For this card, I
die-cut these pieces in blue and green tones to focus on the flowers and leaves that contrast with the dark background. The
cardstock that I used is from Spellbinders: Peridot, Rainforest, Windy, Celestial, and Onyx.
El set de troqueles Astrantia está compuesto por 5 piezas para crear flores y hojas. Lo que más me gusta de este set son las pequeñas flores, ya que pueden utilizarse en muchísimos proyectos de tarjetería. Para esta tarjeta, troquelé las piezas en tonos azules y verdes para centrar la atención en las flores y las hojas, que contrastan con el fondo oscuro. La cartulina que utilicé es de Spellbinders: Peridot, Rainforest, Windy, Celestial y Onyx.
This card is too simple to make. I attached all the pieces together on the card base using a
pick tool that Spellbinders has just released. I prefer using
liquid glue with the
glue tool helper, as I was injured last January, and I've been dealing with sequels. Also, I'm thinking about purchasing an electronic die-cutting machine because of the pain, but in my view, they are so expensive... Now I'm using the Spellbinders Platinum 6 die cutting machine.
Esta tarjeta es muy sencilla de hacer. Pegué todas las piezas sobre la base de la tarjeta utilizando una herramienta de recogida que Spellbinders acaba de lanzar. Prefiero usar pegamento líquido con una herramienta auxiliar para aplicarlo, ya que me lesioné el pasado mes de enero y todavía sigo lidiando con algunas secuelas. Además, estoy pensando en comprar una máquina de troquelado electrónica debido al dolor, aunque, en mi opinión, son bastante caras. Por ahora sigo utilizando la troqueladora de Spellbinders Platinum 6.
One of the things I like about creating this card is the use of round-pointed tools, giving dimension to the flowers and leaves that seem real. This is fantastic! It's the first time I've used these tools, and I'm obsessed with them.
Una de las cosas que más disfruté al crear esta tarjeta fue el uso de herramientas de punta redondeada para dar dimensión a las flores y las hojas, consiguiendo un efecto muy realista. ¡Es una maravilla! Es la primera vez que utilizo estas herramientas y me tienen completamente enamorada.
At some point, I noticed the card had a lot of plain greenery and needed to add some dark tones. I applied some
ink to the leaves to give them some different shades. I used the Moss ink by Hero Arts.
En un momento dado, me di cuenta de que la tarjeta tenía demasiado follaje uniforme y que necesitaba añadir algunos tonos más oscuros. Apliqué tinta sobre las hojas para crear diferentes matices y aportar más profundidad. Utilicé la tinta Moss de Hero Arts.
For my
sentiment, I decided to glue a
Spanish one that I'd created a long time ago. I usually keep some sentiments in an album that I use when I don't have any new phrases. I love keeping Spanish ones as English sentiments are used regularly. The Spanish set is from Spellbinders, too. They are launching multilingual sentiments throughout the year, and I'm very happy about it!
Para el sentimiento, decidí pegar uno en español que había creado hace bastante tiempo. Suelo guardar algunos sentimientos en un álbum para utilizarlos cuando no tengo frases nuevas preparadas. Me encanta conservar opciones en español, ya que normalmente se utilizan mucho más los sentimientos en inglés. Este set en español también es de Spellbinders. La marca está lanzando sentimientos en varios idiomas a lo largo del año, ¡y eso me hace muy feliz!
