Hello, artists!
Today I’m bringing you the Spellbinders Small Die Club for this August 2025. It’s one of my favorite clubs because it combines perfectly with others, such as the Glimmer, the embossing folders (both standard and 3D), and the BetterPress. Remember, there’s still about a week left to subscribe to these clubs (until August 27th). This month’s theme is sea and beach, an absolute must-have for creating summer cards!

Hoy les traigo el Club de Troquel Pequeño de Spellbinders para este agosto de 2025. Es uno de mis clubes favoritos, ya que se puede combinar perfectamente con otros como el de Glimmer, las carpetas de embossing (tanto estándar como 3D) y la BetterPress. Recuerden que todavía queda aproximadamente una semana para poder suscribirse a estos clubes (hasta el 27 de agosto). La temática de este mes es mar y playa, ¡un básico imprescindible para crear tarjetas veraniegas!

In the Small Die Club, you’ll find several pieces to assemble: two divers, a variety of fish, and three different types of corals—perfect for building an under-the-sea scene. Following the instructions included in the package, each figure is quite easy to put together. You can see the result in my Instagram reel or in the short on my YouTube channel.

En el Club de Troquel Pequeño vienen varias piezas para armar: dos buzos, varios peces y tres tipos diferentes de corales, perfectos para crear una escena submarina. Siguiendo las instrucciones incluidas en el paquete, resulta bastante sencillo montar cada figura. Pueden ver el resultado en mi reel de Instagram o en el short de mi canal de YouTube.


For the background of my card, I reused the negative space left over from a project I made with the Glimmer Club. Although it didn’t turn out perfectly and had a few flaws, I decided to make the most of it since I was going to add plenty of corals on top. This way, the imperfections were barely visible, and what did peek through could be interpreted as tiny bubbles in the background.

Para el fondo de la tarjeta reutilicé la parte negativa que me había quedado al trabajar con el Club de Glimmer. Aunque no me salió del todo bien y quedaron algunos fallos, decidí aprovecharlo porque al añadir tantos corales esos detalles apenas se notan. De hecho, lo que queda a la vista se puede interpretar como diminutas burbujas, lo cual aporta realismo a la escena.

This month, the foil included in the Glimmer Club is Speckled Prism, but since mine didn’t arrive, I used Prism instead, which is just as beautiful. I also created the sentiment for this card with the Glimmer, using white foil so it would stand out against the background and images.

Este mes, el foil incluido en el Club de Glimmer es el Speckled Prism, pero como no me llegó utilicé el Prism, que también queda precioso. Además, creé la frase principal de la tarjeta con la Glimmer usando foil blanco, para que destacara sobre el fondo y las imágenes.


For the assembly, I cut a piece of cardstock to simulate the ocean floor and glued down each of the images without following a strict pattern, just placing them here and there naturally. I adhered the sentiment to the top of the card and, to finish it off, added a bit of sparkle to the corals and fish.

En cuanto al montaje, recorté un trozo de cartulina para simular el fondo marino y fui pegando las piezas sin seguir un patrón fijo, simplemente distribuyéndolas de manera natural. Coloqué la frase en la parte superior y, para dar un toque final, añadí un poco de brillo a los corales y los peces.
