Hello crafty people! It's me, Cha! Today I want to show you another card that I made using the My Monthly Hero kit May 2021. This kit is still available but once is sold out, it will be gone forever. This time I colored the small images that come with this kit. However, I used gouache paints to color them which is not common because these paints are opaque and cover the fine lines of the stamps. I used these gouache paints with water so that I could reduce the pigment of each paint and see the lines from the stamps. I purchased these gouache paints from AliExpress (this shop is not part of my affiliate links). These are very good quality gouaches but, keep in mind, there are many gouaches paints out there, like those from Winsor&Newton, or Prima Marketing (see HERE). I hope you like this card!
¡Hola artistas! Soy Cha. Hoy quiero mostrarles otra tarjeta que hice utilizando el kit de Hero Arts, My Monthly Hero kit Mayo 2021. Esta vez coloreé las pequeñas imágenes que vinieron con este kit. Este kit todavía está disponible pero una vez agotadas las existencias, no estará disponible más. Sin embargo, utilicé pinturas gouache para colorearlas que no son muy comunes porque estas pinturas son opacas y cubren las líneas finas que definen el dibujo de los sellos. Utilicé estas pinturas gouaches con agua para así reducir el pigmento de cada pintura y poder ver las líneas del contorno. Estas pinturas gouache las adquirí en AliExpress (esta tienda no es parte de mis enlaces de afiliación). Estas pinturas son de buena calidad pero, por favor, ten en cuenta que hay muchas pinturas gouache, como las de Winsor&Newton or Prima Marketing (mira AQUÍ). ¡Espero que les guste esta tarjeta!

——— https://ldli.co/e/oy6dlk [ ALX ]First of all, I picked a piece of heavy paper for acrylics and watercolors (or Mix Media paper). I used the Mini MISTI Stamping Tool to stamp the small images that come with the My Monthly Hero kit May 2021. The first time that I stamped these images was by using the colorless ink from Hero Arts, HA Contour ink. I did not remove the stamps from the Mini MISTI Stamping Tool because I was going to stamp the images again. Once I stamped the images, I started coloring them. I used the HIMI Gouache paints and some water. Then, I put this piece inside the Mini MISTI again and stamped them with Versafine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder, HA Ultra Fine Embossing Powder. As I stamped the outlines of these images with black ink, now they are more clearly in detail because the paints covered some details that you could not see. This is a good technique when you paint with shimmer paints, acrylic paints, or pigment inks as Distress Oxide inks.
Primero, escogí un trozo de papel para pintura acrílica y acuarelas (o papel Mix Media). Utilicé la Herramienta de Estampación Mini MISTI para estampar las pequeñas imágenes que vienen con el kit de Hero Arts, My Monthly Hero May 2021. La primera vez que estampé estas imágenes fue utilizando la tinta incolora de Hero Arts, HA Contour ink. No quité los sellos de la Herramienta de Estampación Mini MISTI porque iba a estampar las imágenes otra vez. Una vez que estampé las imágenes, comencé a colorearlas. Utilicé las pinturas gouache HIMI con agua. Luego, puse este trozo dentro de la Mini MISTI nuevamente y las estampé con la tinta Versafine Onyx Black ink y embosé con polvos de embossing transparentes, HA Ultra Fine Embossing Powder. Como estampé el controno de estas imágenes con tinta de color negro, ahora las imágenes están mejor definidas y captan el detalle ya que estaban cubiertas con pintura opaca y algunos de esos detalles no podían verse. Esta es una buena técnica cuando coloreas con pinturas brillantes, pinturas acrílicas o tintas de pigmentos como las Distress Oxide.
The background was colored with blue tones of gouache paints. Then, I stamped some bubbles and the sentiment with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder, HA White Embossing Powder. I trimmed a little bit the sides of this panel and glued it to a white standard folded card.
Coloreé el fondo con tonos azulados de las pinturas gouache. Después estampé algunas burbujas y la frase con la tinta Versamark ink y embosé con polvos de embossing blancos, HA White Embossing Powder. Recorté los laterales de la tarjeta un poco y lo pegué a una base de tarjeta blanca.
The images were die cut with their frame cuts and added to the panel with foam tape. Later, I used some shimmer to the images, added some clear dots with the Glossy Accents to create some bubbles, and added some sequins - MLT Bubbles, iridescent sequins, HA Seashore.
Troquelé las imagenes con sus troqueles coordinados que vienen con el kit y los adherí a la tarjeta con cinta adhesiva de espuma. Luego, utilicé brillo en las imágenes, añadí algunos puntos transparentes con el Glossy Accents de Ranger para crear algunas burbujas, y añadí algunas lentejuejas - MLY Bubbles, lentejuelas iridescentes, HA Seashore.
