Hi crafters! It's me, Cha! Today I want to show you a card that I made using the My Monthly Hero kit May 2021 that is still available! To create this card, I used the Karin Brushmarkers to color the big image that comes with the kit. There is also a card video up if you want to watch it! I really love this kind of kits (see HERE for more information) because ¡you can create a lot of different cards with it! I hope you like this card.
¡Hola artistas! Soy Cha. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una tarjeta que hice utilizando el kit de Hero Arts, My Monthly Hero kit de Mayo 2021 que aún está disponible. Para crear esta tarjeta, utilicé los Rotuladores Acuarelables Karin para colorear la imagen grande que viene con el kit. Me encanta este tipo de kits (mira AQUÍ para más información) porque... ¡puedes crear un montón de tarjetas diferentes con solo este kit! ¡Hay un vídeo de esta tarjeta por si quieren echarle un vistazo! ——— https://ldli.co/e/g4xe74 [ HA ] To start creating this card, I picked a piece of Arches watercolor paper and put it inside the Mini MISTI Stamping Tool to stamp the big image that comes with the My Monthly Hero kit May 2021. This image was stamped with colorless ink, the HA Contour ink. Then, I colored this image with a brush and the Karin Brushmarkers - 283, 166, 269, 201, 172, 357, 197, 216, 200, 209, 168, 220, 226, 247, 210, 253, 174, 272. Later, I put the image back to the Mini MISTI and restamped the image with Versamark Ink. Before inking the stamp again, I applied an Anti-static Powder Tool so that I could heat emboss it with HA White Embossing Powder. I colored the border around the image with a blue Karin Brushmarker - 045. Finally, I used the frame cuts from the kit to die-cut the image.
Para crear esta tarjeta, escogí un trozo de cartulina de acuarela Arches y la puse en la Herramienta de Estampación Mini MISTI para estampar la imagen más larga que viene con el kit de Hero Arts, My Monthly Hero kit May 2021. Estampé esta imagen con una tinta incolora, la llamada HA Contour ink. Luego, coloreé esta imagen con un pincel y los Rotuladores Acuarelables de Karin - 283, 166, 269, 201, 172, 357, 197, 216, 200, 209, 168, 220, 226, 247, 210, 253, 174, 272. Más tarde, puse la imágen otra vez en la Mini MISTI para estampar nuevamente la imagen con la tinta Versamark ink. Antes de estampar otra vez, apliqué una Herramienta de Polvo Antiestática para así embosar con los polvos de embossing blancos, HA White Embossing Powder. Coloreé alrededor del borde de la imagen con un rotulador acuarelable Karin de color azul - 045. Finalmente, utilicé el troquel coordinado para troquelar la imagen.
The background was created with an impression, using the HA Water Flow Slimline Stencil and a Tan Embossing Mat which requires a die cutting machine. I used the Sizzix Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine but any of this kind would work, just you have to follow the instructions that come with the machine. As I wanted to make an impression, I used tab 1 from my Big Shot (embossing option), I added the plates and the embossing mats with a piece of cardstock between them. The cardstock that I used was a blue one, the HA Periwinkle Premium Cardstock. I trimmed a little bit the sides of this panel so that I could leave a white frame around.
Creé el fondo con una impresión, utilizando el esténcil o máscara HA Water Flow Slimline y una Almohadilla para Embosar que requiere una troqueladora. Utilicé la Troqueladora Manual Big Shot de Sizzix pero cualquiera de este tipo funciona, solo tienen que seguir las instrucciones que vienen con la troqueladora. Como quería hacer una impresión, utilicé la pestaña 1 de la base de la troqueladora Big Shot (la opción para embosar), añadí las bases de corte y la almohadilla para embosar con un trozo de cartulina entre estas. La cartulina que utilicé fue una de un color azulado, la HA Periwinkle Premium Cardstock. Recorté los laterales de este fondo para así, poder dejar un marco blanco alrededor.
The background was mounted on a standard white base. I also added the image to this background with foam tape to give a dimensional look.
Utilicé una base blanca de tarjetas en donde pegué el fondo embosado de color azul. También, añadí la imagen coloreada utilizando cinta adhesiva de espuma para darle un poco de relieve.
I used a piece of the same blue cardstock that I used for creating the background to stamp the sentiment that comes with the kit. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and heat embossed with HA White Embossing Powder. I added it to the card with foam tape.
Utilicé un trozo de la misma cartulina azul que utilicé para crear el fondo para estampar la frase que vino con el kit. Estampé la frase con la tinta Versamark ink y embosé con polvos de embossing blancos, HA White Embossing Powder. Añadí la frase a la cartulina con cinta adhesiva de espuma.
To finish off this card, I added a little shimmer to the images and some clay sequins on top of the image - MLT Seashore Sprinkles.
Para terminar esta tarjeta, añadí un poquito de brillo a la imagen y algunas lentejuelas de arcilla sobre la imagen - MLT Seashore Sprinkles.
This is the card that I created using the My Monthly Hero kit May 2021. I hope you guys like it and there is another video coming soon using the same kit. Remember that this kit is still available but once it's gone, it's not going to be restored again so... hurry up if you want it!
