Hello there! It's me, Cha! This week is Creativation in which craft stores show some of the products that are going to be launched along this year, 2019. As each year, Hero Arts company is going to release one of its kits for the 2019 catalog. This is the third year that they launch monthly kits and the kit for this new year is the Color Layering Sea and Sky and Color Layering Waves stamps sets. Last year, it was the Mermaid kisses stamp set. So, for celebrating this new catalogue, I'm going to show you how I created a card using both kits that are available now.

Esta semana es la presentación de Creativation en la que muchas compañías de manualidades, tarjetería o mixed media muestran los productos que van a lanzar para este nuevo año 2019. Como cada año, Hero Arts pondrá a la venta uno de los kits para este su nuevo catálogo 2019. Este es el tercer año de los kits mensuales y para este nuevo año, el kit elegido es el Color Layering Sea and Sky y Color Layering Waves. El año pasado fue el set de sellos Mermaid kisses. Así que, para celebrar este nuevo catálogo, les voy a enseñar cómo creé una tarjeta utilizando ambos kits que están disponibles ya.

For creating this mermaid card, I used several techniques, stamping, masking, and coloring.
Para crear esta tarjeta con la sirena, utilicé varias técnicas, estampación, enmascarado y coloración.
1. First, I stamped the mermaid on the center of the card using my MISTI using an alcohol-friendly ink, Hero Arts intense black ink. Then, I masked the image using the Inkadinkado mask paper.
1. Primero, estampé la sirena en el centro de la tarjeta utilizando la herramienta de estampación MISTI utilizando una tinta adecuada para colorear con tintas de alcohol - Hero Arts intense black ink. Luego, enmascaré la imagen con el papel de enmascarar de Inkadinkado.
2. I added the sea behind the mermaid stamped with different inks - the Coloring Layering Waves. I stamped this first layer with aquatic. I moved to the next layer stamped with deep blue and stamped the last layer using indigo. I also masked the sea.
2. Añadí el mar detrás de la sirena estampándolo con tintas de diferentes colores - Color Layering Waves. Estampé la primera capa con la tinta aquatic. Para la segunda capa, utilicé la tinta deep blue y para la última capa utilicé la tinta indigo. También enmascaré el mar.
3. I stamped the background - Star Light Star Bright Bold Prints, using soft sky dye ink. In order to stamp this background several times, I used the Tim Holtz Stamp Platform.

4. I removed the masking paper and colored the image with alcohol markers - ProMarkers and BrushMarkers from Winsor & Newton.

5. I stamped the sentiment at the top of the card using Versafine onyx black ink.

6. For final touches, I added some shimmer with the NUVO aqua shimmer pen, Hero Arts pigment ink unicorn, some glossy accents, and the Sakura rolly gel stardust.
