Hello there! It's me, Cha! This time I'm joining in the March challenge 2018 from A Blog Named Hero (Hero Arts). It's the first challenge that they launch this year and I think it is a good opportunity for me to create as I'm a little busy because of my exams. The challenge for this month (March 2018) is to use your favorite Hero Arts product. In fact, for me, it was a super challenge because I really love all their products!
¡Hola a todos! Soy Cha. Esta vez me he decidido a participar en el Reto de Hero Art para el mes de marzo 2018 en su blog oficial - A Blog Named Hero. Este es el primer reto que lanzan este año y pienso que, para mí, es una buena oportunidad para crear ya que estoy bastante ocupada por los exámenes. El reto para este mes (marzo 2018) es utilizar tu producto favorito de Hero Arts. En realidad, para mí fue bastante difícil ya que me encantan la mayoría de los productos de Hero Arts.

One of my favorite products from Hero Arts is the Rectangle Infinity Dies. I always use these rectangles to cut my pieces of cardstock or foam sheets to place them on the folded cards. Another product is the folded cards in different colors! I love them so much! You see? I don't know what I love the most! Another product that I love, it is their monthly kits because these kits include a lot of products to try and you can create many different things with them. These kits are versatile.
Uno de mis productos favoritos de Hero Arts es el set de troqueles de rectángulos - Rectangle Infinity Dies. Siempre utilizo este set de troqueles para cortar la cartulina cardstock para tarjetas o hojas de goma eva o foamy para dar dimensión a las tarjetas sobre las bases de las tarjetas. Otro producto que me gusta mucho son las bases de tarjetas - folded cards. ¡Y en diferente colores brillantes! ¡No puedo vivir sin ellas! ¿Ven? No sé cual sería mi producto favorito de Hero Arts.... Otros productos que me gustan mucho son los kits mensuales porque estos kits incluyen una gran variedad de productos y, con ellos, se pueden crear una infinidad de cosas. For this challenge, I created this card, using one of the kits that was launched last year. However, the products of this kit are now available. As a celebration of 2-years launching their kits, Hero Arts company decided to launch again some past monthly kits and one of these kits was the Safari kit that is the kit that I used for my card and one of my favorites! I also used the layering stamp set - Color Layering Brave Lion. Also, I used some stars stamps that were included in the August kit 2017 which is not available anymore and some special ink cube that is included in the December kit 2017 which is also not available anymore.
Para este reto, he creado esta tarjeta utilizando uno de los kits mensuales que fue lanzado el año pasado. Sin embargo, con motivo de la celebración de dos años de kits, se decidieron vender los productos de los kits más votados. Uno de ellos es el que yo he usado para esta tarjeta - Safari Kit. ¡Y es uno de mis favoritos, por supuesto! También utilicé un set de sellos en capas - Color Layering Brave Lion. También, utilicé algunos sellos de estrellas que estaban incluidos en el kit de Agosto 2017 pero ya no está disponible, y, además, también utilicé una tinta especial que vienen en cubo que está incluido en el kit de Diciembre 2017 que tampoco está disponible.

I cut a piece of white cardstock using one of the Rectangle Infinity Die (the third biggest die) and using my Big Shot Machine. I colored my background blending some Distress Oxide Inks - Broken China and Faded Jeans.
Utilizando el set de troqueles de rectángulos (el tercero más grande), corté un trozo de cartulina cardstock blanca utilizando la Big Shot. Coloreé el fondo de este panel blanco mezclando algunas tintas Distress Oxide - Broken China y Faded Jeans.
I picked the second layer of the Color Layering Brave Lion. For stamping my images, I decided to use my Stamping Platform by Tim Holtz. I placed my card, previously colored, on this stamping tool and positioned my stamp on my cardstock. I used my Powder Tool first and then, I stamped the first image with Unicorn Pigment ink pad which is also one of my favorite pigment inks because it is a great white. Later, I added to the image some Ultra Fine embossing powder and heat it with my gun tool. I embossed the image twice.
Del set de sellos en Capas - Color Layering Brave Lion, escogí la segunda capa. Para estampar este sello, decidí utilizar la Plataforma de estampación de Tim Holtz. Posicioné mi tarjeta (la que había coloreado anteriormente) en esta herramienta de estampar y coloqué el sello (la segunda capa). Utilicé mi Herramienta Anti-estática y estampé el sello utilizando la tinta de pigmento Unicorn que, también, es una de mis favoritas porque es super blanca y se pueden realizar muchos proyectos con ella. Más tarde, añadí a la imagen polvos de embossing transparentes Ultra Finos y los sequé utilizando la pistola de calor. Estampé y añadí los polvos de embossing dos veces para que sobresaliera un poco más la imagen.
I took the third layer of the Color Layering Brave Lion and positioned again in my Stamping Platform. I used my Powder Tool first and I stamped the image with some special blue ink, called Sapphire ink cube which is included in the MMH December kit. I think this ink is a hybrid ink (a mixture of dye and pigment ink), so, I decided to add some Ultra Fine embossing powder, too, and melted the powder with my heat gun. As this ink is no longer available and is a hybrid ink, I think it is quite similar to Indigo ink pad. I also embossed this image twice.
Esta vez, del set de Sellos en Capas - Color Layering Brave Lion, escogí la tercera capa y posicioné otra vez la tarjeta en la Plataforma de estampación de Tim Holtz. Nuevamente utilicé la Herramienta Anti-estática y estampé este sello con una tinta especial de color azul llamada Sapphire ink y que venía en formato cubo (versión pequeña) y que está incluída en el kit de MMH Diciembre 2017. Pienso que esta tinta es un híbrido (es decir, una mezcla de tintas de tinte - dye - y pigmento - pigment - ), así, que decidí añadir a esta capa, los polvos de embossing transparentes Ultra Finos y los derretí con la pistola de embossing. Como esta tinta ya no está disponible y es un híbrido, pienso que el color tiene un parecido con la tinta Índigo. Estampé este sello y añadí los polvos de embossing dos veces para que sobresaliera aún más la imagen.
I moved on to the background. I masked the lion and used my Powder Tool in my whole panel. I stamped some stars using Versamark Ink. I decided to stamp these little stars in the part that I colored with Faded Jeans Distress Oxide ink. Moreover, as I was going to stamp the sky with full of stars, I decided to make the stamping with a small acrylic block. Also, I added to the stars the Ultra Fine embossing powder and heat set it with my craft tool.
Para crear el fondo, enmascaré la imagen principal y utilicé la Herramienta Anti-estática en todo el panel. Estampé muchas estrellas utilizando la tinta de marca de agua Versafine Ink. Decidí estampar estas pequeñas estrellas en la parte del fondo que previamente había coloreado con la tinta más oscura de Distress Oxide - Faded Jeans. Además, como iba a estampar todo el cielo con sellos de estrellitas, decidí estamparlas con un bloque acrílico pequeño. También, añadí a estas estrellas polvos de embossing claros Ultra Finos y los quemé con la pistola de calor.
I positioned my card in my Stamping Platform and, this time, I was going to stamp several images at the bottom of my card - the part that is colored with Broken China Distress Oxide. I added some silhouette stamps from Safari Wild About You stamp set and Safari Huge Thanks stamp set and stamped these images with Versafine Onyx Black ink. Finally, I added the grass stamp which is included in the Safari Wild About You stamp set at the very bottom of my card and using the same ink - Versafine Onyx Black ink. I dried the ink with my heat tool to avoid to smear the ink.
Posicioné la tarjeta en la Plataforma de Estampación nuevamente y, esta vez, iba a estampar algunas imágenes en la parte inferior de la tarjeta - la parte coloreada con el color más claro de la tinta Distress Oxide Broken China. Añadí algunos sellos de siluetas de los set de sellos Wild About You y Huge Thanks. Estampé estas imágenes con la tinta Versafine Onyx Black. Finalmente, con la misma tinta estampé en la parte más inferior de la tarjeta el sello de césped que está incluido en el set de sellos Safari Wild About You. Sequé esta tinta con la pistola de calor para evitar que la tinta se corra.
I stamped my sentiment below the lion using Versafine Onyx Black ink and added some Ultra Fine embossing powder. I heat the sentiment and made some highlights to it using a white gel pen. Moreover, I added some white pigment ink around the lion with a sponge dauber and removed the excess with a tissue carefully. I wanted that the lion stood out more from the starry background.
Estampé mi frase bajo la imagen principal utilizando la tinta Versafine Onyx Black y añadí los polvos de embossing claros Ultra Finos. Quemé la frase con la pistola de embossing e hice algunos resaltos a las letras utilizando el boli o lapicero de gel blanco. Además, añadí un halo blanco alrededor de la imagen principal para resaltar la imagen utilizando un tapón de espuma - sponge dauber - y con la tinta de pigmento Unicorn y eliminé el exceso con un pañuelito (tissue) con cuidado.
I cut a black foam sheet using one of the Rectangle Infinity Die (the second biggest die) with my Big Shot Machine. I used double-sided tape to adhere my card on top of this foam piece, and then, I attached this whole piece to a Snow folded card.
Corté un trozo de goma eva o foamy de color negra utilizando uno de los troqueles rectangulares de Infinity Dies (el segundo más grande) y utilizando la Big Shot. Utilicé cinta de doble cara para adherir mi tarjeta encima del trozo de la goma eva o foamy que había cortado, y entonces, toda esta pieza, la pegué a una base de tarjeta de color blanca.
For final touches, I added some glitter to the face of the lion and the animal silhouettes at the bottom using Wink of Stella Glitter Clear. Finally, I also added some stars at the bottom of the card.
Para los toques finales, decidí añadir algo de brillo al rostro de la imagen principal y a las siluetas de los animales en la parte inferior. Utilicé el Wink of Stella de brillo transparente. Finalmente, añadí algunas estrellitas en la parte inferior de la tarjeta.

1) Troqueles Infinity Dies - Rectangulares, 2) Bases de Tarjetas - Snow (Blanco Nieve), 3) Polvos de Embossing, 4) Tinta de Pigmento - Unicorn (Blanco Unicornio?) y, 5) Kits Mensuales 'My Monthly Hero'.
También incluiría la pistola de calor Wagner en esta lista porque derrite los polvos de embossing muy rápido y los resultados son sorprendentes. La pedí una vez pero, lamentablemente, dejó de funcionar 5 días después de que la recibiera. No sé por qué pero tengo miedo de que me pase lo mismo y por eso, no la he pedido nuevamente.
