Hello, crafters!

I was part of the Spellbinders Influencer Program in 2025, and I had the opportunity to create lots of cards with the Spellbinders Clubs. However, although I shared the photos with the Spellbinders team, I couldn't post them all on social media because there were so many cards! Now I'm sharing those cards that weren't posted at the time. The Spellbinders Clubs are still active today, but with different products. Some of these products are available in the Spellbinders Archives, but they sell out so quickly! Today, we continue sharing these past clubs with the Glimmer Club. To create with this set, you need the Glimmer Hot Foil System and a compatible manual die-cutting machine. The process is simple: the copper-colored foil included in this club adheres to the cardstock through the heat of the machine and the pressure of the die-cutting machine. That is why both tools are essential.

Formé parte del Programa de Influencers de Spellbinders en 2025 y tuve la oportunidad de crear muchísimas tarjetas con los clubes de Spellbinders. Sin embargo, aunque compartí las fotos con el equipo de Spellbinders, no pude publicar todas en redes sociales porque ¡había muchísimas tarjetas! Ahora estoy compartiendo esas tarjetas que no llegué a publicar en su momento. Los clubes de Spellbinders siguen activos actualmente, aunque con productos diferentes. Algunos de estos productos están disponibles en los Archivos de Spellbinders, ¡pero se agotan rapidísimo! Hoy continuamos compartiendo estos clubes anteriores con el Club de Glimmer. Para crear con este set es necesario contar con la máquina Glimmer Hot Foil System y una troqueladora manual compatible. El proceso es sencillo: el foil que incluye este club, en color cobre, se adhiere a la cartulina mediante el calor de la máquina y la presión de la troqueladora. Por eso, ambas herramientas son indispensables.

Cardmaking is a form of expression that allows us to bring joy to the person who receives it. Creating cards is always exciting, especially when we imagine the recipient’s reaction. For this reason, I recommend subscribing to two Spellbinders clubs: one that provides the main focal image of the card and another that enhances the background, such as the Glimmer Club. The cards I am sharing today were made with the Glimmer Club and the Small Die Club.

La creación de tarjetas es una forma de expresión que nos permite dar alegría a la persona que la recibe. Elaborarlas genera ilusión, especialmente al imaginar la reacción del destinatario. Por esta razón, recomiendo suscribirse a dos clubes de Spellbinders: uno que aporte la imagen principal de la tarjeta y otro que realce el fondo, como el Club de Glimmer. Las tarjetas que presento hoy fueron realizadas con el Club de Glimmer y el Club Troquel Pequeño.

For the background technique, you need:

- Glimmer Hot Foil System

- Compatible manual die-cutting machine

- Glimmer plate (included in the Glimmer Club)

- Foil (included in the Glimmer Club)

Para la técnica del fondo se necesitan:
- Máquina Glimmer Hot Foil System
- Troqueladora manual compatible
- Placa Glimmer (incluida en el Club de Glimmer)
- Foil (incluido en el Club de Glimmer)

Steps to follow:

1- Plug in the machine and wait until the green light stops blinking.

2 - Place the Glimmer plate on the platform, design facing up.

3 - Add the copper foil with the shiny side facing the plate.

4 - Place the cardstock on top, followed by the two spacer plates.

5 - Press the “Timer” button and wait until the light stops blinking.

6 - Remove the platform from the base of the machine and run it through the manual die-cutting machine.

7- Carefully remove the pieces, as they will be hot, and reveal the design.

Pasos a seguir:

1 - Conectar la máquina y esperar a que la luz verde deje de parpadear.

2 - Colocar la placa Glimmer sobre la plataforma, con el diseño hacia arriba.

3 - Añadir el foil de color cobre con la parte brillante hacia la placa.

4 - Colocar encima la cartulina y luego las dos bases espaciadoras.

5 - Presionar el botón “Timer” y esperar a que la luz deje de parpadear.

6 - Retirar la plataforma de la base de la máquina y pasarla por la troqueladora manual.

7 - Retirar con cuidado las piezas, ya que estarán calientes, y revelar el diseño.

This year’s Glimmer Club design is perfect for the season, as it can be used for both Halloween and fall-themed cards. It also pairs wonderfully with the Small Die Club, which includes themed images that coordinate beautifully. El diseño que incluye este año el Club de Glimmer es ideal para la temporada, pues puede usarse tanto en tarjetas de Halloween como de otoño. Además, combina perfectamente con el Club Troquel Pequeño, que contiene imágenes con esta temática y permite crear composiciones muy versátiles.
