Hello, everyone!
In the upcoming posts, I'll be talking about the new Spellbinders collection called "Amaryllis Christmas" by Yana Smakula. As soon as I saw the collection and all its elements, I fell in love instantly, as it allows you to create different cards using a variety of techniques. For this card, I used the "Yana's Amaryllis Etched Dies" set, and I absolutely love these dies! In fact, I’ll be sharing several techniques using this same die set. I’ve also created a video for this card, which you can watch on my Instagram and YouTube.

En las pr贸ximas publicaciones, les hablar茅 sobre la nueva colecci贸n de Spellbinders llamada "Amaryllis Christmas" de Yana Smakula. En cuanto vi la colecci贸n y todos sus elementos, me enamor茅 al instante, ya que permite crear diferentes tarjetas utilizando una gran variedad de t茅cnicas. Para esta tarjeta, he utilizado los troqueles del set "Yana's Amaryllis Etched Dies", ¡y me han encantado! De hecho, compartir茅 varias t茅cnicas utilizando este mismo troquel. The
"Yana's Amaryllis Etched Dies" set includes eight dies: four that cut the shapes and four that cut the outline of each. This card is quite easy to make, as I simply die-cut the pieces with the
"Yana's Amaryllis Etched Dies" in different
colored cardstock (red, gold, and green) and added double-sided adhesive paper to the back of the cardstock, turning them into stickers to avoid using liquid glue and achieve a cleaner look.
El set de troqueles "Yana's Amaryllis Etched Dies" incluye ocho troqueles: cuatro que cortan las formas y cuatro que cortan la silueta de cada una de ellas. Esta tarjeta es bastante sencilla de crear, ya que simplemente he troquelado las piezas con los troqueles "Yana's Amaryllis Etched Dies" en diferentes cartulinas de colores (rojo, dorado y verde) y les he a帽adido papel adhesivo de doble cara en la parte posterior para convertirlas en pegatinas, evitando as铆 el uso de pegamento l铆quido y consiguiendo un acabado m谩s limpio.

Later, I die-cut the background, which I had previously embossed on
green cardstock using the
"In The Pines Embossing Folder". To die-cut the background, I first temporarily placed the dies (only the outline ones) to plan the design I wanted. Then, I die-cut it and added a touch of a darker shade using
Distress Inks in the colour "Mowed Lawn". I then adhered the background onto a
pale blue cardstock and started attaching the images (the flowers and petals) in red and gold. The result is beautiful, as the die-cut background creates a blue halo around the images.
M谩s tarde, he troquelado el fondo, que previamente hab铆a embosado en cartulina verde utilizando la carpeta de embossing "In The Pines Embossing Folder". Para troquelar el fondo, primero coloqu茅 provisionalmente los troqueles (solo los de la silueta) para decidir el dise帽o que quer铆a. Despu茅s, lo troquel茅 y le apliqu茅 un toque de color de un tono m谩s oscuro con las tintas Distress Inks, el color "Mowed Lawn". A continuaci贸n, pegu茅 el fondo sobre una cartulina azul p谩lido y empec茅 a colocar las im谩genes (las flores y los p茅talos) en rojo y dorado. El resultado es muy bonito, ya que al troquelar el fondo, se crea un halo azul alrededor de las im谩genes.
