1 Die Set 2 Different Cards | 1 Set de Troqueles 2 Tarjetas Diferentes

Hello crafty friends,

I've taken a few weeks off and I'm back in full swing with more cards to show you. Today, I'm showing you two cards made with the same die set but with different cardmaking techniques that, even, it is even difficult to find out if they are made with the same set because of their differences.

Me he tomado unas semanas de descanso y vuelvo a tope con más tarjetas que mostrarles. Hoy les muestro dos tarjetas realizadas con el mismo set de troqueles pero con diferentes técnicas de tarjetería que, incluso, es complicado averiguar si están hechas con el mismo set debido a sus diferencias.

For the first card, we used the Gnome Drive Hearts For You Spellbinders die set as the main focus but to highlight the background very subtly, we chose an embossing folder with clouds. The hearts were die-cut on different pink and red cardstock which were colored in the same tones with Distress Inks to give more depth of color and stand out more. It is a simple card in which the pieces have been die-cut and the card has been designed.

Para la primera tarjeta, utilizamos el set de troqueles de Spellbinders, Gnome Drive Hearts For You Etched Dies, como foco principal aunque para destacar el fondo muy sutilmente, escogimos una carpeta de embossing con nubes. Los corazones fueron troquelados en diferentes cartulinas en tonos rosados y rojas que se colorearon con los mismos tonos con las tintas Distress Inks para dar más profundidad de color y destacar más. Es una tarjeta simple en la que se han troquelado las piezas y se ha diseñado la tarjeta.

For the second card, we used the arrow die included in the Spellbinders die set to create a repeating background with the same image as, in this case, the main focus of the card is the phrase "Happy Valentine's Day" which we stamped right in the middle. We adhered arrows in different colors: black, red, pink, and holographic, and included small hearts and some bows. To give our card a different touch, we partially die-cut the bottom of the card so that the arrows are hanging down. To make this look more visible, we glued a piece of grey cardstock on the inside to highlight the shape of the arrows.

Para la segunda tarjeta, utilizamos el troquel de flecha incluido en el set de troqueles de Spellbinders para crear un fondo repetido con la misma imagen ya que, en este caso, el foco principal de la tarjeta es la frase "Happy Valentine's Day" que justo estampamos en el medio. Adherimos flechas de diferentes colores: negras, rojas, rosas y holográficas, e incluimos corazones pequeños y algunos lazos. Para dar un toque diferente a nuestra tarjeta, realizamos la técnica de troquelado parcial en la parte inferior para que las flechas queden colgando. Para que se pueda observar mejor este aspecto, pegamos una trozo de cartulina gris en el interior para destacar la forma de las flechas.
