Die-cut cards are very nice as they give a touch of dimension. Die-cuts are those little thin wires that are cut with a manual die-cutting machine (such as the
Spellbinders Platinum 6) or with an automatic die-cutting machine (such as the
Big Shot Switch). However, creating with a die cutter can be tedious at times, especially when working with small pieces, because when it comes to gluing each piece with
liquid glue, it smudges everything. However, there is an alternative to liquid glue when creating with dies -
double-sided adhesive sheets.

Las tarjetas realizadas con troqueles son muy bonitas ya que da un toque de relieve. Los troqueles son esos pequeños alambres finos que se cortan con una troqueladora manual (como la Spellbinders Platinum 6) o con una troqueladora automática (como la Big Shot Switch). No obstante, crear con troqueles suele ser tedioso en ocasiones, especialmente si trabajamos con piezas pequeñas, ya que a la hora de pegar cada una de ellas con pegamento líquido, manchas todo. No obstante, existe una alternativa para el pegamento líquido cuando se crea con troqueles - hojas adhesivas a doble cara.

This card has been created with the
Gnome Hugs Etched Dies from Spellbinders. To make this card quicker and cleaner, it was decided to use double-sided adhesive sheets. However, we had used other double-sided adhesive sheets before and they did not work as these sheets were too heavy and, together with the cardstock, the die-cutting machine did not cut well, but today, we came across double-sided adhesive sheets that die-cut beautifully, leaving the die-cut pieces clean and without any residue from the adhesive sheet - these are the
double-sided adhesive sheets from Altenew. We have tried them on both
glitter cardstock and
80lb white cardstock and they die-cut beautifully in a single pass. In fact, to make this card, we used the small pieces from the die set to demonstrate that you can create this card easily by simply gluing each piece together.
Esta tarjeta ha sido creada con el set de troqueles Gnome Hugs Etched Dies de Spellbinders. Para hacer esta tarjeta más rápido y limpio, se decidió utilizar hojas adhesivas a doble cara. Sin embargo, ya habíamos utilizados otras hojas adhesivas a doble cara y, no sirven, ya que estas hojas tenían mucho gramaje que junto con la cartulina, la troqueladora no cortaba bien pero hoy, hemos dado con las hojas adhesivas a doble cara que troquelan de maravilla, dejando las piezas troqueladas limpias y sin ningún residuo de la hoja adhesiva - son las hojas adhesivas a doble cara de la marca Altenew. Nosotros las hemos probado con cartulina de purpurina y con cartulina blanca de 80 lb y troquelan muy bien y de una sola pasada. De hecho, para realizar esta tarjeta, se ha utilizado las piezas pequeñas del set de troqueles para demostrar que efectivamente se puede crear esta tarjeta de manera fácil con tan solo pegar cada pieza.
For the sentiment of this card, we used a leftover from a previous card in which we used the Glimmer with word dies. Finally, the background was also chosen from some cards we had created earlier which we will show you soon.
Para el sentimiento de esta tarjeta, se utilizó uno sobrante de una tarjeta anterior en el que utilizamos la Glimmer con troqueles de frases. Por último, el fondo también ha sido elegido de unas tarjetas que habíamos creado anteriormente y que enseñaremos muy pronto.
Thanks to the leftover die-cuts for this card, we have created an extra card that we hope you will also like. This time, we blended the background with Distress Oxide inks and changed the composition of the elements.
