2024 Card Sketchbook | Libreta de Bocetos de Tarjetería 2024

Hello, my dear friends, 

Today is Christmas Eve and I would like to give you a gift for the support offered over the years, even though I have not been very active on this blog and on Social Networks due to my job as a teacher. However, many of you know that I come back intermittently and that we all have our lives, beyond this wonderful world of cardmaking. It is for this reason that I would like to give you this gift. This year, Sketchbooks are becoming fashionable, which is a notebook to sketch and design the cards before turning them into reality.  Today I am showing you this sketchbook, which you can download for free (scroll down to see the links), print it out, and bind it, just as I did. You can even bind it more beautifully than I did by using a gold or silver-colored binding spiral. 'Card Projects' have called this notebook and it has been designed in two colors: one in color and one in black and white. You can print one or the other or make a mix of both, as I did with the project sheets so as not to waste a lot of printer color ink. This book is available in English and Spanish.

Hoy es Nochebuena y quisiera hacerles un regalo por el apoyo ofrecido en estos años, a pesar de no haber estado muy activa en este blog y en Redes Sociales debido a mi trabajo como profesora. Sin embargo, muchos saben que vuelvo de manera intermitente y que todos tenemos nuestra vida, más allá de este mundo maravilloso de la tarjetería. Es por esto mismo por lo que quisiera hacerles un regalo. En este último año se han puesto de moda los Sketchbooks, que es una libreta para bocetear las tarjetas antes de convertirlas en realidad.  Y hoy les muestro mi libro, que puedes descargar de manera gratuita (sigue avanzando para ver los enlaces), imprimirlo y encuadernarlo, tal y como yo lo he hecho. Incluso, pueden encuadernarlo más bonito que yo, poniendo una espiral de encuadernación de color dorado o plateado. Este libro llamado "Proyectos de Tarjetería" ha sido diseñado en dos colores: una en color y otra en blanco y negro. Pueden imprimir uno u otro o hacer una mezcla de ambos, como he hecho yo con las hojas de proyecto para no gastar mucha tinta de color de la impresora. Este libro está disponible en español y en inglés.

This book is designed for A4 pages (European size). Therefore, it is advisable to test this before printing the whole document. First, print one of the pages in case you need to adjust the page to the size you want to print.

Este libro está diseñado para páginas de tamaño A4 (medidas europeas). Así que es recomendable realizar una prueba de impresión de una de las páginas por si hubiese que ajustar la página al tamaño que se desea imprimir. 

Moreover, only over 10 pages have been included for sketching cards, so you can print the pages 10 by 10 indicating from the page you want to print to the last one (from page 3 to page 12). This has been done in this way as the file was too large to be uploaded. We also printed the last page twice to add one before the card sketching pages. 

Asimismo, solo se han incluido 10 páginas para bocetar tarjetas, por lo que se puede imprimir las páginas de 10 en 10 indicando desde la página que se quiere imprimir hasta la última. Esto se ha realizado de esta manera ya que el archivo era demasiado grande para poder subirlo. También imprimimos la última página dos veces para añadir una antes de comenzar las páginas de bocetear tarjetas.

As you can see in one of the photos or in the reel, I'm not very good at sketching, I do sticks rather than drawing. I could draw and do it better but I prefer to be more creative when I design a card and not waste time sketching, but rather by embodying ideas. In fact, I do not usually add colors by coloring the panels but I write them down and, as I create, I look at the color combination. It is up to you and how you like to design.

Como pueden observar en una de las imágenes o en el reel, no soy muy buena realizando bocetos, hago palos más que dibujar. Podría dibujar y hacer bien los dibujos pero prefiero ser más creativa cuando diseño una tarjeta y no perder tiempo bocetando, sino más bien plasmando ideas. De hecho, no suelo añadir los colores coloreando los paneles sino los escribo y, mientras creo, voy viendo la combinación de colores. Es depende de cada uno y cómo le guste trabajar. 

This notebook has been very useful for me to be able to organize the projects that I will carry out in the future. There have even been projects that, due to lack of time, I have not been able to create, but which are in this notebook so that I can design them in future projects. This book is a great ally because when you have an idea, you can capture it here and then modify it until you are satisfied with the result.

Esta libreta me ha resultado muy útil para poder organizar los proyectos que realizaré en el futuro. Incluso han habido proyectos que, por falta de tiempo, no he podido realizarlos pero que están en este libro para poder realizarlos en futuros proyectos. Este libro es un gran aliado ya que cuando tienes una idea, la puedes plasmar aquí y, luego ya ir modificándola hasta estar satisfecha con el resultado.
