Hello artists! It's me, Cha! Today I'm here again to show you another card with layering stamps! Yes! I always love this kind of stamp and I missed creating with them, so these days I've been playing with them. One of the last layering stamps that I've purchased is the Volcano HeroScape Stamp Set from Hero Arts. These HeroScape Stamps are similar to layering stamps but the difference between them is these ones are simulating landscapes. I wanted to create a card with one layer and without much masking... so here it is! I hope you like this card! Do you like this card?
¡Hola artistas! Soy Cha. Hoy estoy otra vez por aquí con otra tarjeta ¡con sellos en capas! ¡Sí! Me encantan este tipo de sellos y la verdad es que echaba de menos crear con ellos, así que estos días he estado jugando con ellos. Uno de los últimos sellos en capas que he adquirido ha sido el set de sellos de Hero Arts, Volcano HeroScape Stamp set. Estos sellos HeroScape son similares a los sellos en capas pero la diferencia entre ellos es que estos simulan paisajes. Quise crear una tarjeta sin relieve, es decir, crear una tarjeta en un solo trozo de cartulina sin enmascarar demasiado... ¡así que aquí está! ¡Espero que les guste esta tarjeta! ¿Les ha gustado?

I picked a 4 by 5,25-inch white cardstock piece to stamp the volcano from the HA Volcano HeroScape Stamp Set. As this stamp set is a layering stamp set, I used my MISTI Stamping Tool to do all my stamping so that I could double stamp and got crisp images. I put the piece of white cardstock inside the MISTI and started stamping every layer of this stamp set one by one. The volcano stamp was inked with different colors of inks.
Escogí un trozo de cartulina blanca de 4 por 5,25 pulgadas para estampar el volcano del set de sellos Volcano HeroScape de Hero Arts. Como este set de sellos es un set con sellos en capas, utilicé la Herramienta de Estampación MISTI para estampar todo para poder estampar más de una vez y obtener la imagen más nítida. Puse este trozo de cartulina blanca dentro de la MISTI y comencé a estampar cada sello en capas uno a uno. El sello del volcán lo estampé con diferentes tintas de colores.
Once I stamped every layer of this volcano, I colored the background with some other inks using Ink Blending Brushes. This is a one-layer card, so I had to start coloring from the center to the edges of the card. In the middle of the card was the top part of this volcano, meaning the crater, spewing lava. In this area, I blended some HA Strawberry Bold ink, then I used HA Tangerine Bold ink and HA Dandelion Bold ink. I added close to the edges the HA Indigo Bold ink to give some contrast between warm and cold colors.
Una vez que estampé cada capa de este volcano, coloreé el fondo con otras tintas utilizando Cepillos Aplicadores de Tintas. Esta es una tarjeta en una sola pieza de cartulina, así que tuve que comenzar a colorear desde el centro hasta los bordes de la tarjeta. En el medio de la tarjeta estaba la parte superior de este volcano, es decir el cráter, arrojándo la lava. En esta área, combiné las tintas HA Strawberry Bold ink, luego utilicé la tinta HA Tangerine Bold ink y la HA Dandelion Bold ink. Later, I wanted this volcano to be reflected at the bottom of the card as if there were a sea. So, I masked the base of the volcano with some Masking Tape and blended the HA Dandelion Bold ink, HA Tangerine Bold ink, HA Strawberry Bold ink, and HA Charcoal Shadow ink. I also added a little bit of the HA Indigo Bold ink to the corners to simulate a little bit of the sky. I removed the mask piece.
Después quise que este volcán estuviera reflejado en la parte inferior de la tarjeta como si hubiera un mar. Así que enmascaré la falda del volcán con Cinta de Enmascarar y combiné los colores HA Dandelion Bold ink, HA Tangerine Bold ink, HA Strawberry Bold ink y HA Charcoal Shadow ink. También añadí un poquito de la tinta HA Indigo Bold ink en las esquinas para que simulara un poco el cielo. Quité el trozo de enmascarado.
Then, a small rock was stamped in the sea. I stamped with the same inks that I used for stamping the volcano - HA Charcoal Shadow ink and HA Intense Black ink. I also stamped the smoke with HA Soft Purple Shadow ink. Using the Mini MISTI Stamping Tool, I stamped the sentiment next to this rock with Versafine Onyx Black ink.
Entonces estampé una pequeña piedra en el mar. Estampé con las mismas tintas que utilicé para estampar el volcán - HA Charcoal Shadow ink y HA Intense Black ink. También estampé el humo con la tinta HA Purple Shadow ink. Utilizando la Herramienta de estampación Mini MISTI, estampé la frase al lado de esta roca con la tinta Versafine Onyx Black ink.
The card was glued to a 4,25 by 5,5-inch Mustard cardstock piece from Hero Arts and attached to a white folded card.
Pegué esta tarjeta a un trozo de cartulina de color amarillo mostaza de 4,25 por 5,5 pulgadas, HA Mustard Premium Cardstock, y la pegué a una base de tarjeta blanca.
No hice nada más a esta tarjeta por sus colores llamativos. Pienso que ha quedado bien de esta manera. ¿Y ustedes qué piensan? ¿Ustedes hubieran añadido algo más?
