Hi! It's me, Cha! Today I'm up at Joy Clair Designs Blog. I would like to share with you a card with a +LGTB theme as there are many people around the globe that is celebrating their sexuality this month. To make this card, I used a very beautiful digital sentiment from 'Funny Times' digital stamps. I love this sentiment and I think it was a good message on this occasion. What do you think?
¡Hola! soy Cha. Hoy estoy en el blog Joy Clair Designs. Me gustaría compartir con ustedes una tarjeta con la temática +LGTB como hay mucha gente alrededor del mundo que está celebrando su sexualidad en este mes. Para hacer esta tarjeta, utilicé una bonita frase digital del set de sellos digital 'Funny Times'. Me encanta esta frase y pienso que era un buen mensaje para esta ocasión. ¿Qué piensan ustedes?

——— https://ldli.co/e/mqm91o The card that I'm going to show you is super easy to make. Just I resized the sentiment a little bit bigger as always, 2,5 by 4 inches approximately. I printed the sentiment with a laser printer. Then, I added gold foil on top and passed it through a laminator. I trimmed the sentiment as a rectangle and left it aside to create the background.
Esta tarjeta que voy a enseñarles en súper fácil de hacer. Simplemente ajusté el tamaño de la frase un poco más grande que de costumbre, unos 2,5 por 4 pulgadas aproximadamente (como son tarjetas americanas, utilizamos pulgadas, pero en centímetros sería 6,35 por 10,16). Imprimí la frase con una impresora láser y añadí foil dorado encima que pasé por una plastificadora o laminadora. Recorté la frase como un rectángulo y lo dejé a un ladito para crear el fondo.
To create the background, I trimmed many strips from colored cardstock that I had in my stash. The colors that I used were those that are part of the Pride flag - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Then, I picked a 4 by 5,25-inch white cardstock and glued each strip vertically while cutting the excess. As I wanted a little dimension to the card, I also added white narrowed strips on top of the others but those ones from the same color. Besides, I also trimmed 0,125 inches of white strips and glued them around this background, as a frame. Later, I added this background to a standard white base.
Para crear el fondo, recorté muchas tiras de diferentes cartulinas de colores que tenía entre mis materiales. Los colores que utilicé fueron aquellos que eran parte de la bandera del Orgullo - rojo, naranja, amarillo, verde, azul y violeta. Luego, elegí un trozo de cartulina blanca de 4 por 5,25 pulgadas y pegué cada una de las tiras de manera vertical mientras iba cortando el exceso. Como quería un poquito de relieve en esta tarjeta, simplemente añadí tiras más estrechas sobre las otras pero del mismo color. Además, recorté varias tiras blancas estrechas de unos 0,125 pulgadas aproximadamente y las pegué alrededor del fondo, como un marco. Más tarde añadí este fondo a una base de tarjeta estándar.

To finish off this card, I used foam tape to add the sentiment on top of the colored background. I added this sentiment diagonally. Finally, I added some white heart and rainbow clay embellishments.
Para terminar esta tarjeta, utilicé cinta adhesiva de espuma para añadir la frase sobre el fondo de colores. Añadí la frase en diagonal. Finalmente añadí algunos corazones blancos de arcilla y unos arcoiris de arcilla para adornar.
