Hello everyone! Today I wanted to show you a card that I made using the My Monthly Hero kit - March 2021 from Hero Arts. It's about books and literature! It's a versatile kit because you can create lots of cards just using the kit. Hero Arts also releases kits depending on the festivity of the month like this one because it was the International Book Day on the 23rd of April. If you follow me, you'll notice that it's hard for me to make a CAS card but I've tried to make it using this kit. Since I've created some card posts and videos in which I've shown you the whole process of Copic coloring, I've just decided to remove this part (you can watch these videos HERE).
¡Hola a todos! Hoy quisiera ense帽arles una tarjeta que hice utilizando el kit de Hero Arts de Marzo 2021. ¡Es sobre libros y literatura! Es un kit muy vers谩til ya que puedes crear muchas tarjetas utilizando solo el kit. Hero Arts tambi茅n lanza kits dependiendo de la festividad del mes como este ya que fue el D铆a Internacional del Libro el pasado 23 de abril. Si me siguen, se habr谩n dado cuenta de que me cuesta mucho hacer tarjetas simples y sencillas pero lo he intentado hacer utilizando este kit. Como he creado algunas publicaciones y v铆deos en donde muestro el desarrollo de colorear con los rotuladores Copic, esta vez he decidido eliminar esta parte (pueden ver estos videos AQU脥).

This is a CAS card and it was very easy to make. I just picked a 4,25 by 5,5-inch HA Arctic Premium Cardstock and stamped on this piece the HA Novel Prose Bold Prints with HA Pool Shadow Ink. Then, I decided to create a focal point on this background and I blended HA White Unicorn Pigment ink with an Ink Blending Tool in the center of the card. I trimmed just a little bit the sides of this background. Later, I die cut three circles from the HA Circle Nesting Infinity Dies on Neenah Solar White 110lb. These pieces were stacked together using liquid glue and added the complete piece in the center of the card.
Esta creaci贸n es una tarjeta simple y sencilla y f谩cil de hacer. Simplemente eleg铆 un trozo de cartulina azulada (HA Arctic Premium Cardstock) de 4,25 por 5,5 pulgadas y estamp茅 sobre ella el sello de caucho HA Novel Prose Bold Prints con la tinta HA Pool Shadow ink (tambi茅n con tono azulado). Luego decid铆 crear un punto focal en el fondo y, con un Aplicador de Tinta, tint茅 la cartulina con blanco, utilizando la tinta de pigmento HA White Unicorn Pigment ink. Recort茅 los laterales del fondo. M谩s tarde troquel茅 tres c铆rculos del set de troqueles HA Circle NEsting Infinity Dies en la cartulina blanca Neenah Solar White 110lb (libras). Pegu茅 estas piezas entre s铆 para crear un 煤nico c铆rculo con relieve y lo a帽ad铆 en el centro del fondo con pegamento l铆quido.
As I'd already stamped with HA Intense Black ink, colored with Copic Sketch Markers, and die-cut the images from the main kit, I just added them inside of the circle with foam tape.
Como ya hab铆a estampado con la tinta HA Intense Black ink, coloreado con los rotuladores Copic Sketch y troquelado las im谩genes del kit principal, simplemente las a帽ad铆 dentro del c铆rculo con cinta adhesiva de espuma.
A strip of the same color cardstock was trimmed to stamp the sentiment with the same ink that I used before (HA Arctic Premium Cardstock and HA Pool Shadow ink). I added the strip at the bottom of the panel with some foam tape.
Recort茅 una tira para estampar la frase con el mismo color de cartulina y la misma tinta que hab铆a utilizado antes (es decir, HA Arctic Premium Cardstock y HA Pool Shadow ink). A帽ad铆 la tira en la parte inferior del fondo con cinta adhesiva de espuma.
To embellish the card, I stamped an image next to the images that I'd already added, inside the circle. For this, I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black ink and colored it with a white gel pen. Then, I added some shimmer to the circle and images with the NUVO Aqua Shimmer Pen and some white drops with NUVO Drop - Simply White.
Para adornar la tarjeta, estamp帽e una imagen al lado de las otras im谩genes que ya hab铆a a帽adido, dentro del c铆rculo. Para ello, la estamp茅 con la tinta Versafine Onyx Black ink y la colore茅 con un rotulador de gel blanco. Entonces, a帽ad铆 brillo al c铆rculos y a las im谩genes con el NUVO Aqua Shimmer Pen y unas gotas blancas con el NUVO Drop - Simply White.
To finish off the card, I mounted the card on a white base card that I scored myself.
Para terminar esta tarjeta, mont茅 la tarjeta sobre una base de tarjeta blanca que hice yo misma utilizando una tabla de hendido.
