Hi there! It's me, Cha! Today, I am starting a new video series on my YouTube Channel about cards made from other cards, meaning cards created from leftover pieces. I will show you the card that I created and how these cards turn into cards thanks to these leftover pieces. I always have a box in which I keep small paper pieces that don't convince me to create a card at that moment. That is why I decided to create a bunch of cards using just those remaining pieces. I hope you find this series a little bit useful so that you do not throw any piece of paper away and you can reuse them for creating other cards.
¡Hola a todos! Soy Cha. Hoy comienzo una serie de vídeos en mi Canal de YouTube sobre tarjetas creadas a partir de otras tarjetas, es decir, de los trozos sobrantes de otras tarjetas. Les enseñaré la tarjeta que creé y como estas tarjetas se convirtieron en tarjetas gracias a esos trocitos que sobraron. Siempre tengo una caja en la cual guardo pequeños trozos de papel o cartulinas que no me convencen para crear una tarjeta en ese momento. Es por eso que decidí crear un montón de tarjetas utilizando solo esos restos. Espero que encuentren útil esta serie de tarjetas un poquito para que así, no deshechen trozos de papel y puedan reutilizarlos para otras tarjetas.
My first card is based on the following card that you see here and I posted about two years ago on my Instagram (@chadelel).

I started the background. I created this background by using alcohol inks. As I wanted to create a sky with blue tones and white, I used alcohol inks and YUPO paper (Pitch Black, Denim, Turquoise, Snow Cap). However, I did not like that cloud that I created, so I decided to keep this background. Today, I wanted to use it although I did not find beautiful that cloud. I cut a cloud with a pair of scissors using some textured paper, or watercolor paper. I sprayed some shimmer spray to the panel to give a little shine. I glued the cloud in the panel but not covering the cloud at all, just a little bit in order to see a transition between the sky and the cloud. I trimmed the sides of the background a little and glued on a white standard card base.
Utilicé el fondo. Creé este fondo utilizandos tintas de alcohol. Como quería crear un cielo con tonos azules y blancos, utilicé tintas de alcohol y papel YUPO (Pitch Black, Denim, Turquoise, Snow Cap). Sin embargo, no me gustó esa nube que creé, así que decidí guardar este fondo. Hoy, quise reutilizarlo aunque no encontré bonito esa nube. Recorté una nube con unas tijeras utilizando papel con textura o papel de acuarela. Rocié el panel con un atomizador o espráy de purpurina para darle brillo al panel. Pegué la nube en el fondo pero sin cubrir completamente la nibe, para así ver la transición entre el cielo y la nube. Finalmente, recorté los laterales del panel y lo pegué sobre una base de tarjeta blanca de medida estándar.
I reused an image of a mouse that I had created when I made the other card. I colored this image with Promarkers' alcohol markers on white cardstock and stamped with HA Intense Black Ink. I added this to the card with adhesive foam circles to give some dimension to the card.
Reutilicé la imagen de un ratón que había creado cuando hice la otra tarjeta. Coloreé esta imagen con rotuladores de alcohol ProMarkers sobre cartulina blanca y estampé con la tinta HA Intense Black Ink. Añadí esta imagen a la tarjeta con círculos adhesivos de espuma para darle un poco de relieve a la tarjeta.
For the sentiment, I used "Thinking of you" that I stamped directly to the card with Versafine Onyx Ink. Just using an acrylic stamp block, inked the stamp and stamped on top of that cloud. This sentiment is from the My Monthly Hero kit from Hero Arts that is not available anymore. Finally, I added some iridescent sequins and stars on the background, and I added some dimension to the eyes of the mouse with a dimensional pen (Sakura Glaze).
Para la frase, utilicé la frase "Thinking of you" que estampé directamente en la tarjeta con la tinta Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Utilicé un bloque acrílico, lo tinté de tinta y estampé la frase sobre la nube. Esta frase es de un kit de Hero Arts que ya no está disponible. Finalmente, añadí lentejuelas iridescentes y estrellas al fondo de la tarjeta, y añadí relieve a los ojos del ratoncito con un rotulador de relieve (Sakura Glaze).
And that's it! Keeping all the pieces that you discard from your cards, you can create other beautiful cards, end even, cards that are easy to make because you mount them so fast.
¡Y eso es todo! Guardando todos los trocitos sobrantes que descartas cuando creas tus tarjetas, puedes crear otras tarjetas bonitas, e incluso tarjetas más fáciles ya que las montas más rápido.
