Hello there! It's me, Cha! Today I would like to show you how I created a card with a metallic look using the embossing technique. For creating this card, I used a previous kit from Hero Arts - MMH March 2018 which is included many sentiments.
¡Hola a todos! ¡Soy Cha! Hoy me gustaría enseñarles como he creado una tarjeta con un look metálico utilizando la técnica de embossing (o repujado). Para crear esta tarjeta utilicé un kit anterior de Hero Arts - mes de marzo 2018 en el cual vienen muchas frases.
First, I decided to cover my panel with the Versamark ink. For this, I just rubbed the ink pad over my surface. Then, I covered it up with silver sparkle embossing powder and heat set it. Later, I stamped the party image from the Hero Arts kit several times on the whole panel using the Versamark ink again. I added silver embossing powder and heat set it. Now I had a silver sparkle background that contrasted with the matte silvery images. Next, I stamped the same image around the edges, again with the Versamark ink. This time I wanted more contrast and added some gold embossing powder. I used my heat gun to dry the powder. Here I have a metallic background! It's gorgeous!
Primero, decidí cubrir mi panel con la tinta Versamark. Para ello, froté la almohadilla de la tinta sobre la superficie de la cartulina. Lo cubrí con los polvos de embossing plateados con purpurina y los sequé con la pistola de calor. Más tarde, estampé una de las imágenes del kit en toda la cartulina utilizando la misma tinta, Versamark ink. Añadí polvos de embossing plateados, esta vez sin la purpurina. Como resultado, tenía un fondo plateado con purpurina constrastado con las imágenes con un color plateado de acabado mate. Luego estampé la misma imagen alrededor de los bordes de la tarjeta con la misma tinta. Esta vez quería un poco más de contraste y añadí polvos de embossing dorados. Utilicé mi pistola de embossing para secarlos y ¡aquí sí que tenía mi fondo metálico! ¡Precioso!
For the sentiment, I just added some sentiment from the kit and stamped on another white cardstock with Versamark ink. I embossed it with gold embossing powder in order to fit with the background and heat set it.
Para la frase, utilicé algunas palabras del kit y las estampé en otra cartulina blanca con la tinta Versamark. Les añadí polvos de embossing dorados para que contrastataran con el fondo.
Finally, I just glued the sentiment on top of this metallic panel and added some metallic and transparent sequins here and there with the jewel picker. I assembled this card on a white notecard.
Finalmente, pegué la frase sobre el panel metñalico y añadí algunas lentejuelas metálicas y transparentes aquí y allá con el jewel picker. Monté la tarjeta en una base blanca para tarjeta.
