The card we are showing you today is a bit complex to make because if you don't like die-cutting, this probably won't be your favorite card. To make this card requires a lot of die-cutting to create the decorative border around the card.

La tarjeta que les mostramos hoy es un poco compleja de hacer ya que si no te gusta troquelar, probablemente esta no sea tu tarjeta favorita. Para realizar esta tarjeta se requiere de troquelar muchas piezas para proceder a crear el borde decorativo que rodea la tarjeta.

To create this card we used a die set in which we only used the flowers and the Easter eggs - S4-1314. We also used another die set with leaves to decorate the central images from another die set - S5-598. The decorative border with flowers was essential to mount this card and, therefore, this was the main focus of attention. For this reason, only five colors were chosen (one green for the leaves and the other four for the flowers and Easter eggs). However, a few Easter eggs and some decorative leaves and flowers were added in the center, leaving a small space for stamping the phrase. I also used faux wood cardstock for the background, which was colored with Distress Oxides - Lost Shadow and Weathered Wood inks.

Para crear esta tarjeta utilizamos un set de troqueles el cual solo le dimos importancia a las flores y a los huevos de pascua - S4-1314. También utilizamos otro set de troqueles con hojas para decorar las imágenes centrales - S5-598. El borde decorativo con flores fue esencial para montar esta tarjeta y, por lo tanto, este sería el foco de atención. Por esta razón, solo fueron escogidos cinco colores (uno verde para las hojas y los otros cuatro para las flores y los huevos de pascua). No obstante, se añadieron unos huevos de pascua y algunas hojas y flores decorativas en el centro, dejando un espacio pequeño para estampar la frase. Asimismo, se utilizó cartulina de imitación a madera para el fondo que fue coloreada con las tintas Distress Oxides - Lost Shadow y Weathered Wood. 

This is a colorful card made up of many tiny, small, and medium elements that blend together seamlessly, with the flower border being the most striking feature of the card. In addition, the pale colors make this card come alive, full of color, and very harmonious.

Esta es una tarjeta colorida compuesta por muchos elementos diminutos, pequeños y medianos que se integran en conjunto en su perfección, siendo el borde de flores lo más llamativo de la misma. Además, los colores pálidos hacen que esta tarjeta cobre vida, llena de color y muy harmoniosa.

Decorative Borders with Sequins (An idea) | Borders Decorativos con Lentejuelas (Una idea)

This card has been created with the same die sets as the previous card - S4-1314 and S5-598, although our intention was to create a border with the sequins in the shape of flowers, we didn't have enough to create it, so this is just another idea for you to create. However, not only flowers can be used, but all kinds of decorations such as sequins, confetti, or even other shapes can be used. Unfortunately, the shop where I bought these flower sequins is no longer available. If you know of a shop that sells this kind of card decorations, leave a comment below. 

Esta tarjeta ha sido creada con el mismo set de troqueles que la tarjeta anterior - S4-1314 y S5-598, aunque nuestra intención era crear un borde con las lentejuelas en forma de flores, no teníamos suficientes para crearlo, así que simplemente es una idea más para ustedes puedan crearlo. No obstante, no solo pueden utilizarse flores, sino pueden todo tipo de decoraciones como, lentejuelas, confetti o, incluso, otras formas. Desafortunadamente, la tienda en donde compré estas lentejuelas de flores ya no está disponible. Si saben de alguna tienda que las vendan, coméntenlo abajo. 

For background coloring, I used faux wood cardstock that was colored with Distress Oxide inks - Brushed Corduroy and Gathered Twigs. 

Para colorear al fondo utilicé cartulina de imitación a madera que coloreamos con las Distress Oxide inks - Brushed Corduroy y Gathered Twigs.
