Hello there! Today we are starting a new challenge at A Blog Named Hero with the theme 'Combining Old and New Products'! Of course, you have to use Hero Arts products for a chance to win a gift certificate! To be honest, I do not have old stamps for any company because I started in the world of cardmaking several years ago but if you have Hero Arts products from the past, I would like to see them! Remember the past year Hero Arts turned 45 years in the market, so you can use the products from their 'From the Vault' catalog if you wish and mix them with the new ones. I would love to see that combination! It would be like a "boom" because you can see the improvements that they have made to keep this company running from past times until now. I feel very glad for them... Hero Arts gave us this beautiful colored world that for one moment, free us from our own problems, and also, from the injustices of this world. Sorry! ¡Hola a todos! Hoy comenzamos un nuevo reto en el blog A Blog Named Hero ¡con el tema de "Combinar productos nuevos y pasados"! Por supuesto tienes que utilizar productos de Hero Arts para tener la oportunidad de ganar un bono de regalo! Para ser sincera, no tengo sellos viejos de ninguna compañía porque comencé en el mundo de la tarjetería hace algunos años pero si tienen productos de Hero Arts del pasado ¡me encantaría verlos! Recuerden que el pasado año Hero Arts cumplió 45 años en el mercado, así que podrían utilizar productos de su catálogo "From the Vault" si quisieran y mezclarlos con los nuevos. ¡Me encantaría ver esta combinación! Sería como un "boom!" porque podemos ver las mejorar que ellos han hecho para mantener esta compañía funcionando desde tiempos pasados hasta ahora. Me siento muy feliz por ello... One of the very first stamps that I purchased from Hero Arts was the Color Layering Goldfish stamp set. I did not know what layering stamps were and when I saw this one for the first time, I knew that I wanted to give a try. If you do not know how to stamp this type of image, Hero Arts has some videos on YouTube showing you how you can stamp these. Now they have a lot of layering stamps sets! (Enjoy yourself HERE).
Uno de los primeros sellos que compré de Hero Arts fue el set de sellos Color Layering Goldfish. No sabía que eran los sellos en capas y cuando vi este por primera vez, supe que quería probarlos. Si no saben como estampar este tipo de imágenes, Hero Arts tiene vídeos en YouTube que les enseña como estamparlos. ¡Ahora tienen muchos set de sellos en capas! (Disfruta AQUÍ).
I picked the images from the Color Layering Goldfish stamp set and stamped on a piece of Dove Premium Cardstock. I used my Mini MISTI Stamping Tool to double stamp the images. I stamped the solid stamp with Ombré Serengeti Sunset ink (a mix of red, orange, and yellow ink). Then, I stamped the second layer of this stamp with Red Royal ink. Finally, I stamped the last layer (the face of the fish) with Hero Arts Intense Black ink. I cut the images with the coordinating dies and colored the edges of the images with B16 Copic Marker so that the images would fit with the background.
Escogí las imágenes del set de sellos Color Layering Goldfish y las estampé en un trozo de cartulina Dove Premium Cardstock (cartulina blanca especial tarjetería). Utilicé la Herramienta para estampar Mini MISTI para estampar las imágenes dos veces y conseguir una imagen más nítida. Estampé la primera capa de sello (la que es más sólida) con la tinta multicolor Ombré Serengeti Sunset (que es una mezcla de degradado en varios colores, rojo, naranja y amarillo). Luego estampé la segunda capa de este sello con la tinta Red Royal. Finalmente, estampé la última capa de sello (la carita del pez) con la tinta Intense Black ink de Hero Arts. I troquelé las imágenes con sus troqueles coordinador y coloreé los bordes de las imágenes con el rotulador Copic B16 para que las imágenes pegaran con el fondo.
For my background, I stamped one of the new rubber stamps from Hero Arts, the Jellyfish Party Bold Prints, (2019) on a piece of Hero Arts Periwinkle cardstock (blue cardstock) with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Hero Arts Ultrafine Embossing Powder. Then, I applied Hero Arts Navy ink and Cornflower ink directly to the cardstock and removed the excess of ink with a microfiber cloth. Later, I wanted to create an underwater scene with a coral reef. I used several inks to color a piece of white cardstock that I die cut with the Coral Fancy Die and Goldfish Frame Cuts. I glued piece by piece at the bottom of the card. Finally, I used an Embossing Pen to color the bottom part and some details from the coral and heat embossed with Hero Arts Sand Embossing Powder. Also, I added the two fishes that I'd created earlier with foam tape.
Para el fondo, estampé el sello de goma que salió el año pasado (2019) llamado Jellyfish Party Bold Prints en un trozo de cartulina Periwinkle (cartulina con tono azul) con la tinta Versamark Ink y repujé (realicé la técnica embossing) con los Polvos de Embossing Ultrafine de Hero Arts. Luego, apliqué la tinta en el fondo utilizando la tinta de Hero Arts Navy y Cornflower directamente sobre cartulina y quité el exceso de tinta con un trapo de microfibra. Más tarde, quise crear una escena del fondo del mar con una barrera de coral. Finally, I stamped the sentiment on Hero Arts Nautical Premium Cardstock with Versamark ink and heat embossed with White embossing Powder. I cut around the sentiment and added it to the top left corner on the background.
Finalmente, estampé la frase en cartulina Nautical Premium Cardstock (cartulina azul oscuro) con la Tinta Versamark Ink y repujé con los Polvos de embossing White (blancos). Recorté la frase alrededor y la añadí en la esquina superior izquierda del fondo.
For final touches, I added some shimmer to the jellyfishes with the NUVO Aqua Shimmer Pen and some clear and blue decorative bubbles to the background.
Para adornar la tarjeta, añadí brillo al fondo de las medusas con el rotulador de brillo NUVO Aqua Shimmer y algunas burbujas decorativas azules y transparentes decorativas al fondo.
