Hello there! It's me, Cha! Today, I'm sharing the card that I made using the My Monthly Hero Kit in October 2019 from Hero Arts and it is still available! You can create many scenes and different cards for Christmas! In this post, I will show you to create some easy cards using one stamp from the kit and Distress Oxide inks. Let's go!

¡Hola a todos! Soy Cha. Hoy comparto con ustedes una tarjeta que hice utilizando el kit de Hero Arts correspondiente al mes de Octubre 2019 y que... ¡todavía está disponible! Puedes crear muchas escenas y diferentes tarjetas para Navidad. En esta entrada del blog, te enseñaré a crear algunas tarjetas fáciles utilizando un sello del kit y las tintas Distress Oxide. ¡Comencemos!

For this card, I used a 4,24 by a 5,5-inch white panel to create the card. I used an anti-static powder tool to remove static charge from the cardstock to avoid the embossing powder adhere to another part of the paper that we don't want to. Then, I picked one of the trees that is included in the kit and stamped repeatedly onto the paper with Versamark ink. Later, I added some Ultra Fine Embossing Powder and dried the powder with a heat tool*. I waited a few seconds before starting coloring.

Para esta tarjeta, utilicé un trozo de cartulina blanca de 4,25 por 5,5 pulgadas para crear la tarjeta. Utilicé una herramienta de polvo antiestática para eliminar la carga estática de la cartulina para evitar que los polvos de embossing se adhieran en otra parte que no queremos. Luego escogí uno de los sellos con un árbol que está incluido en el kit y lo estampé repetidas veces en la cartulina con la tinta Versamark ink. Más tarde, añadí los Polvos de Embossing Ultra Fine y sequé el polvo con una herramienta de calor*. Esperé un par de segundos antes de comenzar a colorear. 

For coloring this panel, I used some Ink Blending Tools for different color inks. I colored the panel with Distress Oxide Inks - Festive Berries, Tumbled Glass, Milled Lavender, Spun Sugar, Cracked Pistachio, Evergreen Bough. When I finished coloring, I used again the anti-static powder tool and decided to use a glue pen to color the tree adornments. What's more, I added some dots on the background with the same pen. Later, I added some Silver Sparkle Embossing Powder and used the heat tool*. I sprayed some Shimmer Mist to the background to give a little shine and dried a little bit with the heat tool. I sprayed a little water too to give a little interest to the background. Besides, I used an acrylic block to add some snowflakes on the background with White Unicorn Pigment Ink. 

Para colorear este panel, utilicé Aplicadores de Tintas para diferentes tintas de colores. Coloreé el panel con la tinta Distress Oxide Inks - Festive Berries, Tumbled Glass, Milled Lavender, Spun Sugar, Cracked Pistachio, Evergreen Bough. Cuando terminé de colorear el panel, utilicé la Herramienta Antiestática de Polvo nuevamente y decidí utilizar un rotulador de pegamento para colorear los adornos de los árboles. Además, añadí algunos puntos en el fondo con el mismo rotulador. Añadí los Polvos de Embossing Silver Sparkle más tarde y utilicé la herramienta de calor. Rocié la pieza con un espráy con brillo que sequé con la pistola de calor* y, también, rocié con agua para resaltar un poco más el fondo. Además, utilicé una base de acrílico para añadir algunos copos de nieve al fondo con la tinta White Unicorn Pigment Ink. 

I trimmed the panel a little bit and glued a piece of foam on the back and then, I attached the whole piece to a white folded card. 

Corté el panel un poco con una guillotina y pegué un trozo de goma eva o foamy en la parte trasera y lo pegué todo a una base de tarjeta blanca. 

For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments that came with the kit with Versamark ink on white cardstock. I heat embossed with Silver Sparkle Embossing Powder. I cut around the sentiment with scissors and added in the center of the card with some foam tape. 

Para la frase estampé una de las frases que venían con el kit con la tinta Versamark ink en un trozo de cartulina blanca. Repujé con Polvos de Embossing Silver Sparkle. Recorté alrededor de la frase con unas tijeras y la añadí en el centro de la tarjeta con cinta adhesiva de espuma. 

Finally, I added some embellishments to the background. These embellishments also came with the kit! 

Finalmente añadí algunos adornos al fondo. ¡Estos adornos también vinieron con el kit!

And that's not all! I created another card with different colors! In this case, I used Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Also, I used one piece of Pitch Black cardstock and different Distress Oxide Inks - Festive Berries, Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass, Squeezed Lemonade. 

¡Y eso no es todo! Creé otra tarjeta con diferentes colores. En este caso utilicé la tinta Versafine Onyx Black Ink. También utilicé cartulina negra (Pitch Black) y diferentes tintas Distress Oxide Inks -  Festive Berries, Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass, Squeezed Lemonade.

*For the USA, I highly recommend the Wagner heat tool from Hero Arts. I cannot use this tool because I live outside of the States and this tool cannot be used internationally due to the electrician requirements that are not the same for all the continents. No possible for use with outlet adapters neither. 

I use Artemio heat gun (available in Europe only). 

Para América, recomiendo la pistola de embossing de Hero Arts - Wagner. No puedo utilizar esta herramienta porque vivo fuera de los EEUU y es incompatible debido a los requisitos eléctricos que no son iguales para todos los continentes. Tampoco es posible utilizarse con un adaptador. 

Utilizo la pistola de calor de Artemio (disponible solo para Europa)
